In reply to: [Osom Author Pro] "Series" Link ErrorThank you, that’s encouraging!!
The only other thing I’m messing up at the moment is the archive headline on the series page. When I go into edit series and edit or remove the archive headline, it reverts back to “Archive:” every time I update.
Have you seen that before?

In reply to: [Osom Author Pro] Does this send book entries as a new post?Perfect! Thank you for the detailed information, that helps quite a lot. For now I would like to use the book reviews in a newsletter format but I like that the option is there for RSS.
Genesis Author Pro looks very professional and it’s fine not having a rating because the appearance is worth going without!

In reply to: [ChimpMate - WordPress MailChimp Assistant] Can't Get an Image to WorkEdit: I did switch it off again until I can sort out why it’s not sending the final welcome email 🙁

In reply to: [ChimpMate - WordPress MailChimp Assistant] Can't Get an Image to WorkHello,
I checked the fields as you suggested, adjusted the size of the image and it’s all good!
It’s at http://genewhitehead.com
Nice looking Lightbox, I appreciate your work!
Another question: It’s not sending the final welcome email through MailChimp even though it’s enabled through MailChimp and 2-step is on in ChimpMate. Is there another setting I’ve missed?

In reply to: Post Title Displays & #8217 When Sharing to FacebookOH man. I’m comfortable editing .php if that’s the fix for this, but it’s still beyond my skill set! How can I change the character set? I guess it’s for anpther topic, but more importantly how do I clean up the messy code?

In reply to: [Genesis Grid] Featured Image Not Displaying CorrectlyYes, my apologies. We fixed this with your instructions on “A better, and easier, grid loop”. Thank you!
Thank you, Jeremy, that was a really simple solution!
My apologies, it was the second time in just a few days that I’ve been hit with 30+ site lockout notifications that all flow in within a minute of each other. Suffice it to say I was a bit concerned about finding a fix.
It was because I had the wildcard entries incorrectly entered. Thanks for the help!
I think I sorted it out: if you have an ip entered incorrectly it unchecks the enable ban users setting. Fix the incorrect ip entry and it seems to work!
I am having this same exact problem, would sure appreciate any advice!

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Extra white spaceThank you very much, Nick! Changing the setting and re-sizing the images did the trick!
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Themes No Longer DisplayingI believe you are right. Now that I can see things again, in my Google Analytics it shows under top pages something called “Co.lumb” with an ip of 78.110.60.230 which I blocked in iThemes. If I try to load this page Malwarebytes blocks it in my browser. Would that mean that page was or is being served from within my site?
Additionally, under top referrers I see “forum.topic29762042.darodar.com” which seems to not exist any longer, and “serw.clicksor.com” which Malwarebytes blocks from my browser, but I got an ip which I also blocked.
I just hope restoring to the older date and implementing more security will help.
Update
I may have been mistaken. When I updated iThemes Security after my first full restore, it certainly resulted in the broken themes/images issue. I quickly restored a full backup once again, leaving iThemes deactivated. I proceeded to swap an image on a page and guess what… broken theme again! Finally, I restored to an even older date from last week, activated and updated iThemes Security, swapped that image again and so far so good. This has been an enormous stumper and I am thoroughly confused!Forum: Themes and Templates
