I found the culprit: It’s iThemes Security. When I updated it just now I got the same broken themes result. How do I best inform them?

In reply to: Themes No Longer DisplayingProblem solved, more or less. I still have no clue what the cause was, but I restored from the GoDaddy control panel a complete backup from a few days ago and all themes and images loaded right away.
Now… I will search for a new web host 😉

In reply to: Themes No Longer DisplayingOk, deleted and reinstalled Twenty Fourteen but it didn’t change anything. I have no idea how this happened since it worked fine up until yesterday.
I left Twenty Fourteen active for now.

This is bad, I know but I’m not sure how to install a theme it says is already there, and I don’t see a way to uninstall Twenty Fourteen.

In reply to: Themes No Longer DisplayingMade that theme with Artisteer a few years ago, hopefully I can find a backup. Meanwhile, I noticed the default themes are doing the same thing, is that a deeper issue than reinstalling a theme?
Let me rephrase the question: will simply uninstalling the plugin remove everything it’s done to my site or is restoring the backup I made prior to installation the better option?
Me too, same problem. I love this plugin but I’m afraid I may have to find a new one because I prefer access to G+ and this plugin hasn’t seen an update in 300+ days. Man I hate to see this one go!

In reply to: [WP-DBManager] Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the publicI did look at that in the FAQ and verified that the url brings up a page not found error. I believe that means I’m good, so I edited the php, plugin error message gone. Thank you!
