Any update on this? I experienced the same, plus the phone number is also missing. It cause major blocks in the system.
It happens with new buyers with totally new information and guest order (without registration)
So you need to use new name, phone, email, address in billing information and use the same in shipping information.
In addition it’s happening when the subscribe checkbox on checkout page is empty. If I set it to “default checked” it solves the problem. BUT this solution is not GDPR complient, so we cannot use it.
