Where are the troubleshooting tips? I don’t see them anywhere.
Inside of the wp-content folder there is another folder named “plugins”. There is another “wp-content folder inside of the “public_html” folder. There is also a really-simple-ssl folder inside of public_html/wp-content/plugins. Where does rsssl-safe-mode.lock go? Can you be a little more specific?
I would also need to know how to fix the ” Something Went Wrong” problem. I am not an expert at WordPress coding so try to be as specific as possible, otherwise I might have to delete your plugin and go with another SSL plugin.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error messageI found out that my hosting company disabled the PHP email that comes with WordPress. Now I have to use SMTP email.

In reply to: [Under Construction] Under Construction won’t turn offI contacted my webhost and they fixed it. The issue was due to a rule in the .htaccess file that was denying access to the site. The code was removed. Not sure where it came from or whether your plugin had anything to do with it.

In reply to: [Smart Grid-Layout Design for Contact Form 7] Submit buttonIf I disable your plugin and go back to the Contact 7 form the button color is correct. So it is your plugin that is causing the problem.

The color of the button is black. It is set to #aa0085 with a black border in my global theme settings. It is not supposed to be black. I have tried everything to correct it. Plus when you click the “send” button the popup that tells me the “accept” box hasn’t been checked is half hidden. I’ve tried everything to correct this problem as well. Nothing works.Interestingly enough, when I click the “send” button the hover color changes to what it is supposed to be.

I entered CSS in your custom CSS tab and it had no effect. I also tried adding custom CSS in my theme CSS box and that doesn’t work, either.
Forgot to mention, I’ve turned off all my plugins one-by-one (except the required Avada plugins) and nothing solves the problem.
I’m pretty sure Avada is the problem. I found this message on my back end home page which is where the Layerslider in question is located.
“https://lfphotographics.com/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/js/fusion-builder.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated”
Since the fusion builder plugin is an integral part of the Avada theme and cannot be turned off there is nothing I can do. You may want to speak with theme-fusion.com and get them to correct this. I already have a support request in at theme-fusion.com for this issue.
BTW, I did all the things you suggested (that I could do) and nothing changes.
Since I don’t have any control over this plugin, perhaps you should be speaking with theme-fusion.com, the creators of Avada, my theme.

In reply to: [Enable jQuery Migrate Helper] No good. It doesn’t work.Hi Marius,
The website is lfphotographics.com. I figured out that the problem only happens in Firefox. If I use Safari everything appears to work fine. I’ve noticed that when I first go to my website in Firefox it appears everything is working, but if I go to another page and go back to the homepage or if I refresh the homepage the Layerslider on the homepage stops working and there is nothing there. I’ve tried turning off the blocks in Firefox preferences but that doesn’t seem to fix anything.
Thank You.

In reply to: Password Protected Pages Not WorkingI’ve noticed sometimes you have to enter the password twice to get it to work. This seems to be random and doesn’t always happen.
Hi Ross,
I actually had an issue with another plugin that kept refreshing the back end gallery page constantly, so thinking that maybe NextGen gallery was corrupted, I disabled and deleted the NextGen Gallery plugin then reinstalled it. When I did this it broke the setting in the gallery settings. I went into “Gallery Settings” on the Basic Thumbnails tab and reset the “Legacy (Old) Template at the bottom of the page to “NextGen Download Gallery”. Then it worked fine again. So I would check that setting to make sure it is set to the correct one.Never mind, I fixed it.
I would also like to add that it doesn’t work well with mobile and looks pretty bad visually.
