I have realized that this is a GoDaddy issue when pushing the staging site to the production site and not something I should have to code around.
I think I am having the same problem. Prior to the update when I looked in my Contact Forms (those submitted) all of the forms had the honeypot field in the list of fields, but with no value. After the update, the field is no longer showing up on the Contact Forms, regardless of whether it was a manual or bot submission. I am presuming that the honeypot is no longer working, but would like some confirmation.
