In reply to: Removing URLI will check out that captcha plugin. Thank you for the tip. I am sure that will not end the spam but sure should cut it down. I know there are programs out there that will auto fill in the captcha for you. But those programs cost money for each captcha that it solves for you. Anyways, thanks again.

In reply to: BlackmailJust putting in my 2 cents worth. I too found this comment on my site tonight. I immediately forwarded the message to paypal. Well maybe not immediately, I first made fun of them on my facebook page. lol Needless to say, I am not worried about this. Are people really this stupid? I mean it does not even say how much you need to “donate” in order to keep your site. I had the thought of sending the person $0.01. But decided to keep my money. I need to go back and view the comment again but doesn’t it have 2 different e-mail addresses too?

I have one right now where I guess someone is sending a pingback to me. In the information box all I see is this.

Now “Farmers leave bare-butt thief hog-tied for” is one of my stories I have posted. But is there any way to find out where this pingback is coming from? I want to know before I approve it.
I am still trying to figure out how people are finding this site so fast already. Man, wordpress is so much better then joomla!

In reply to: a page with links to all other pages in that cat.This was in the end resolved with an “Include” plugin and also a “exclude” plugin and I think everything will work quite nicely. Not quiet the way I want it yet. But this will do for now to get the site live by deadline.

Also I do understand that I can Google plugins to find ones on the net. But I was really hoping to hear peoples experience with specific plugins.
