Ok for anyone Else with this problem go into your file manager and Rename the plugin to kill it off or have your hosting support do it for you.
This Plugin is Dead and should be removed since the owner has disappeared.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Side Bar Widget?Actually, once the reinstall of wordpress was done and installed Meteor again the Widget was right where it was supposed to be in the obvious place..The Widget page!
vSlider has some major security issues but folks should know that simple uninstalling that plugin and deleting it does Not actually fix the problems it creates. There are other posts about this dirty little plugin but you may want to ask others when they have an issue with installing Yours as they may have tired the vSlider first as i did.
We noticed vSlider also disabled the NextGen Gallery plugins.

I apologize for the comment, With the problems listed and I hadn’t seen any recent responses I assumed it was yet another dead plugin listed on ww.wp.xz.cn.
