    Yes, I have tried the ‘test email’ function a few times now:

    I go to Settings > Test Method > Send test email, which I send to my personal email address. A box then pops up to show that the test email ‘has been successfully sent’, but no message then appears in any of my folders, including spam, that I can see.

    I’ve just checked when I had the last MailPoet notification and it looks like 14th November 2016. (Not that I recall ever signing up for it, but I also don’t think it’s anything to do with any Mandrill migration you mentioned in one of your emails. I don’t know if it was somehow bundled into MailPoet, but as emails were happily going out for six months after Mandrill shut off I don’t think it can be to do with that… can it?)

    (ALso FYI, I have also checked folders and all my email filters to see if I can find either messages or any redirections or deletions as applied to both my primary (personal) email address and from the email address which should be on the replies from the website… nothing.)

    With regard to the spam score, the welcome email has not changed in two years. I only have that email go out when people sign up. As I say, I am not using your software in a sophisticated way. *blush*

    I’ve had a look at your mail tester but there is no email for me to put in. As I say, only the one email stored on my site is sent in reply to someone signing up, and that’s all.

    I hope something I’ve said enables you to spot some simple error I am making. If not, I’ll happily try anything else you suggest.

    Dear DNutbourne,

    That seems to have solved it for the Uploads, thank you!

    The default download was supposed to be 400 but for some reason it was saying 500.

    Would you recommend setting it any higher than 25 now that we know there is a solution? I ask because it just takes time manually downloading every 2 minutes and not being able to do anything else on the computer while that happens. If not, then I will live with it, of course.

    The hosting company is GoDaddy.

    I had tried to back up a number of times. I did not move off the page when I was downloading (an automatic ‘fail’) and I had shut any pages I could in order to keep open the download channel.

    The latest download, for which I provide the log, was only for the Uploads backup. I didn’t try to back up any of the others unless that one worked.

    Yes, that is correct.
    I am not using any remote storage, just directly downloading to my PC.
    I am not familiar with pastbin so I’ll investigate it… ok…
    I think I have done this right.

    Dear ElectricFeet,

    Thanks for the reassurance about your phone.

    The mobile is an SonyEricson Xperia.

    Funny thing is that it *was* working to start with (when I first loaded up Customizr) but then always stays with the main menu down, obscuring the page. If I change to ‘Expand submenus on click’ then the menu changes to 90% or so on the right hand side of the screen but still does not expand or collapse. I mention this just in case it helps.

    I deactivated all of them, refreshed the phone, cleared it’s cache too for good measure but the problem is still there.

    I’ve now reactivated all 12 plugins again.

    Just to ask the ‘silly question’: After deactivating the plugins should I wait until the change has ‘propagated through the internet’ or are the changes instantaneous on logging in to the website? My guess is that the change is instant but I just thought I’d check.

    Thank you for your answer. It’s really helpful as this is a new world to me!

    I didn’t know two years was a long time – I will try another plug in as you suggest. It looks like BFT Autoresponder may do what I need so I will install that.

    Dear Andrew,

    What kind of page would you like?

    I can take a photo of the mobile screen if that’s what you mean.

    Just for info, the menus look fine on the main (web based) site.
