1- no plugin for fields or anything related 2- your document (image from your response) https://i0.wp.com/ww.wp.xz.cn/support/files/2018/10/custom_field_example.jpg?w=658&ssl=1 is exactly what I do NOT have. Instead of a field name, the dropdown remains.
