sorry that jetpack got the blame; it was just the plug-in innocent bystander that was kidnapped. 🙂
removing all the malware fully fixed all my problems. thank you GoDaddy support.
Virus is removed by reinstalling WordPress. now I can go back to troubleshooting the Calendar problem.
Yes, I have checked for Plug-in and Theme conflicts and the problem is still there. I also tried on a few other browsers.
And now I seem to have some kind of virus! never had a virus on my site before. So I’ve put it in maintenance mode and am tearing my hair out.
The virus wasn’t there before I deactivated and reactivated all the plugins. But now it’s there even when the plugins are all deactivated again.
