I have deactivated Dynamic Widgets but nothing has changed…
Hi, the widget is a MailPoet Forms Block, and displays correctly in the preview on the Widgets page (as seen here).
I do have Dynamic Widgets plugin; that is Network Activated so not easy to just toggle on and off but I shall give that a try.

In reply to: Checkmarks disappeared (6.9 issue?)Glad I found this thread as I have also been having these issues since updating to WordPress 6.9. The ‘Make Checkbox Usable Again’ plugin seems to have resolved that – and I can now tick the boxes – but I am still missing key icons from the status bar at the top of the site (which I assume are other SVG files which aren’t loading correctly in Firefox). I can use the WordPress dashboard without, but if anyone knows how to fix this as well I’d be very grateful. (An example video of the issue is here.)

I can now confirm that my email address did recieve Wednesday’s email – but two other addresses (seemingly randomly-slected) did not recieve it, despite showing as ‘Subscribed’ in the plugin. However, since that, the plugin has changed my email status back to ‘Bounced’ of its own accord yet again!
To provide some more context for this, this is not actually on my own website… My dad is also a musician and music educator (as I am), and he has a website which I built for him to promote his work, and he writes a weekly music education blog which gets sent out to subscribers. I recommended he use Mailpoet for this, as I use it on my own website with no issues, so I felt that would be the easiest way to setup post notifcations via email for him too. However, he has had all kinds of problems getting the plugin to work, and he keeps asking me to fix these issues as he knows a lot less about WordPress and building websites than I do (although I wouldn’t claim to be any sort of expert either!).
You guys have been really helpful with these problems so far, so I am hoping we can get all this resolved. But at the moment my dad just wants all his subscribers to recieve an email each week whenever he posts on his blog – which doesn’t feel like a major thing to ask!
This is a screenshot taken this afternoon. As you can see, my address has switched back to
Bouncedagain. No one has touched anything and no emails have been sent since yesterday – the plugin has simply changed this on its own.Pretty sure that was, but I could be wrong. This is a weekly post so I shall let you know next Wednesday whether this has worked or not!
I have just checked. My email was set to Bounced, but as you can see I have now set that back to Subscribed.
The last email sent which should have come to this address – but didn’t – was this morning at eleven o’clock!
Thanks for this. Unfortunately my email address has switched back to
Bouncedagain! Why has this happened?!Regarding the forms not displaying, this was the result of AdBlock Ultimate browser extension in Firefox. Not sure why that’s picking up on any MailPoet input fields as ‘ads’ but that seems to be the case.
Thank you. Yes, the address I was referring to was in the Trash this time.
Please let me know how I can change the status of my own address from ‘Bounced’.
Good to meet another Firefox user, to be honest. Seems everyone’s on Chrome these days…
The forms seem to appear correctly in a Private Browsing window, so I’m guessing that particular issue is on my end. I’ll try the cache or deactivating browser extensions to see what I can unearth.
When I say an address gets ‘rejected’, I just mean that doesn’t get added to the list. You can go through the whole process to add a subscriber, click the button to complete the process, and then you go and look at the list as a whole and… that person isn’t there. They’re not a subscriber. You go to add them again, and the exact same thing happens. The list simply will not accept their email address; it rejects them. There appears to be no pattern (ie. ‘always Gmail addresses’) to this behaviour, the plugin just picks certain email addresses at random which it doesn’t like, and refuses to add them to the list at all however many times you try.
I’m not sure that the
Bouncedaddress has bounced before, as that is my own email address…Hi again, this appears to be a browser issue. I have Mailpoet installed on a few different websites, and no Mailpoet forms display correctly on my primary browser (Firefox). The forms look absolutely fine on Safari, or on Firefox Mobile.
However, there is still a bug with adding subscribers. Particular addresses are constantly ‘rejected’ by the plugin, or switched to ‘Bounced’ status. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to which addresses/domains can be added and which can’t.
