In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Child Theme and translationHello,
Sorry for the late answer, I am looking at your website right now and it seems you have translated Our Focus section successfully. Can you share what worked and what didn’t?
Best regards,

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Happy clients displaying verticallyYou can edit the .php files yourself, should be in zerif-lite/sections/

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] yoast and zerif lightHello whitsturn,
Sorry for the delayed answer, google Yoast should work just fine with Zerif by setting the meta description and title for the homepage (go to Yoast -> Title & Metas -> Homepage).
Did you check the source code of the homepage if the meta tags are set right? It just might take a while until Search Engines will pick up the changes you made, especially if it’s a new website.
Best regards,

In reply to: [WP Product Review Lite] Fatal error when activatingIt should not make a difference if you set Transfer Type to Binary. If you are using FileZilla, go to Transfer-> Transfer Type -> Binary and try again.
Or you can simply upload it from your dashboard straight from ww.wp.xz.cn repository.

In reply to: [WP Product Review Lite] Fatal error when activatingHello,
Did you upload the plugin through the WP Dashboard or via FTP?

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Video backgroundIf you are using a child theme and you have modified section files in the child theme, then you also need to make the modifications I mentioned earlier in front-page.php
For example, if I create a child theme and want to customize big_title.php and add some extra content there. First, I would create a file in /zerif-child/sections/big_title.php, then I would make my customizations.
Even though I removed/added content, nothing will be shown because in front-page.php it uses the original big_title.php from the parent theme, so next you want to add front-page.php to your child theme and then make the replacements I mentioned in my previous post.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Video backgroundYou should only copy files that you are going to change and front-page.php if you change sections because you will need to replace get_template_directory() with get_stylesheet_directory() for every section that you are going to change.

In reply to: Lost my entire site when i renamed the theme to something different. As a side note, it is written in ‘some kind of DB table ‘, because if you upgrade from Zerif-Lite to PRO you want to keep every change you made on Lite.
Basically, you can use Zerif Lite, make changes, etc., then delete the theme and get Zerif PRO and your changes will still be there.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Lost my entire site when i renamed the theme to something different.Shadycuz,
I already answered to the review you left to our theme, you should check that as well and see if that’s the cause.
As a side note, take regular backups and use this plugin (or something similar) to Import/Export your settings in the Customizer: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/customizer-export-import/

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Active support, still needs some workHello @shadycuz,
The original theme folder is “zerif-lite”, not “zerif”, I don’t understand how exactly you expect it to pick old settings since you used completely different folder names.
If you want to rename the themes without losing any data, it’s best to use this plugin and export/import your settings: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/customizer-export-import/
It’s better, safer and probably there’s no way to break anything.Best regards,
MariusHello,
Thank you for your awesome review, we’re glad that you are happy with our plugin.
If you really need that feature for a single website, I will upgrade your package to have access to that feature as well. Just send us an email at friends[at]themeisle.com with a link to this page and we’ll make the upgrade 🙂
Best regards,
MariusHello Sacewater,
Would you mind sending us a mail at [email protected] ? We might need more private information such as a copy of the log which shouldn’t be shared publicly.

When you created the app, did you select it’s Status to Live?
It should look like this: http://i.imgur.com/fjyne4s.png
