Hi @zane97,
Great to hear SSL is active 👍
For most normal blog sites, the plugin’s default setup is already a solid and sufficient baseline, especially if you’ve completed the onboarding (after clicking Activate SSL).
The extra hardening options are optional and mainly add additional layers of security. You can enable them if you want stricter protection, but they’re not strictly required for a typical blog.

Hi @ivalanciute633,
Just to clarify, are you referring to using the plugin via your phone’s browser, or the dedicated mobile app?
If you mean the plugin: it runs within the WordPress dashboard, which can be accessed on mobile, but the experience is generally more comfortable on desktop due to the layout. You can see an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgMn9dKJAt4
If you are referring to the mobile app (SimplyBook.me Admin), then yes — it’s designed for mobile use and allows you to manage bookings easily from your phone. The app is generally stable and has recently received minor bug fixes, so it should run smoothly in normal use. You can also find more details about the app here: https://help.simplybook.me/index.php?title=Admin_mobile_app

Hi @todeushlinkovski ,
Thanks for your feedback.
It sounds like this might be related to a different plugin, as we don’t have a “Rating Summary” feature or page-level settings like the ones you describe.
If you’re referring to our plugin, feel free to open a support thread with some more details and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.
Kind regards, Mark

In reply to: [SimplyBook.me - Booking and reservations calendar] Products questionHi @handcrafting1,
It’s not entirely clear yet what you’re aiming to achieve, are you looking to build a shop for selling products, or a booking-style setup using SimplyBook.me?
This will help determine whether using separate widgets or a full integration is the better approach for you.
Also, this thread might be helpful regarding plugin availability on WordPress.com:

Hello @adamscottmartin and @xoyozo,
Thanks for reporting this and for the detailed context 👍
This is a PHP warning, not a critical error. It typically occurs in non-browser contexts (like cron jobs) where certain server variables (such as
REQUEST_METHOD) are not available. We’re aware of this and have already addressed it. A fix will be included in the next release, so this warning should no longer appear.
Thanks for flagging this!
The charge you are seeing is for the Really Simple Security Pro plugin subscription. We can provide you with an invoice for this payment; however, invoices can only be sent as an email attachment and not via the public forum.
Please create a support ticket via our support page:
https://really-simple-ssl.com/support/In your ticket, please include the email addresses [email protected] and [email protected] for your accounting department. Once submitted, our support team will reply within 24 hours and send the invoice as an attachment by email.

Hi @noteshot
Our developers will analyze this as a priority to determine under which conditions this can occur and to ensure it does not happen again in future updates. We also appreciate you sharing the workaround you used, as this information is very helpful for our investigation.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you are able to share any additional details, such as the plugin version, WordPress version, or server environment, that would further assist us in reproducing and resolving the issue.

Hi @ioksotot
Great to hear you got it sorted! 🎉
Thanks for sharing the cause, this will definitely help others who run into the same issue.Kind regards, Mark
Hi @cmrbi
The fix that was included in version 9.5.0.2 (to prevent empty content from being written into the .htaccess file) is already part of the latest release, Really Simple Security 9.5.1.
You don’t need to install 9.5.0.2 separately; just make sure you’re running the newest version (9.5.1), which also includes a few other improvements and bug fixes. You can always check the changelog here for details: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/really-simple-ssl/#developers
I recommend updating to 9.5.1 if you haven’t already, it contains the same .htaccess fix plus some extra stability improvements.
Hope this clears things up!
Kind regards, Mark
Hi @ioksotot,
Sometimes this is caused by a cached permalink structure. A quick fix is to go to Settings → Permalinks in WordPress and click Save (without changing anything). This refreshes the permalinks and often restores the Really Simple Security dashboard.

Hello Leroy,
Now that you’ve purchased a one-year SSL certificate from your host, your site has a valid SSL certificate. The only step left in WordPress is to click Activate SSL in the plugin dashboard.
The plugin will then enforce SSL on the WordPress side, ensuring your site is only accessible over HTTPS.
Kind regards, MarkHi @seaforth,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues after updating the plugin. I’ve tested it using the same version but haven’t been able to reproduce the problem. Could you please enable WP Debugging and share the exact error message you’re seeing? That will help us troubleshoot more effectively.
Once we have the error details, we’ll dig in further and get back to you ASAP.
Kind regards, Mark
