In reply to: [Independent Analytics - WordPress Analytics Plugin] Two QuestionsAdjusted the WP Timezone UCT to my location and changed the setting to “Keep Data Forever.” When I just checked it all seemed to be fine. For question two, originally clicking on the URL showed an “error” in its location. While the post was deleted in its original location it still existed as “uncategorized.” It appears the reader found a “previous post” from the post he was engaging and clicked on it which prompted the tracking view and the error message. I removed the uncategorized post and all is good. No problem with Independent Analytics.

My other site Free2Run4Life.com has the Independent Analytics plugin loaded and the iawp-geo-db.zip file uploaded and unzipped. It would seem that everything is the same as my other site but I have had 20 visits over the last hour and 0 geolocations tracked. Any thoughts on anything I need to look for. I really appreciate your prompt and professional responses.

Later, I uninstalled WP Statistics and installed Independent Analytics on that same website it did the same thing as the Faith Journey site which was 0 Geographic tracking. Not sure if any of that helps. Hoping we can get this working as I really like the unique time viewing of posts and pages from your plugin.

I do not know if this helps, but I was also “testing” WP Statistics since both offer tracking “downloads” in their pro versions which is useful for my sites. For the record, I like your site better, but upon installing the plugin for WP Statistics it was immediately tracking view locations from all over the world.

Thanks for the followup. The file is unzipped and in the wp-content/uploads folder. I have gone through every else that appears in the forum and AI recommendations, but still no geo locations.
Anything you could further suggest, would be great. Many thanks.
