Please disregard. I have resolved this. There was a corrupt location in the table wp_em_locations which was causing the problem. Now resolved.
Great plugin 🙂

Please disregard the above… one of the EVENT CATEGORIES had access permissions applied which was causing the redirect.
That’s a pity.
What about if I wrote some custom jQuery attached to the OnSubmit event that would take the values from the form fields and write into either a custom attribute or just into the description.
Where would I be able to put this jQuery (there is already form validation that happens as an Ajax call)?
Thanks
Never mind I was using some custom code that was restricting the search results to only show the first event in a series of recurring events. This was messing with the search for non-geo searches. I’ve reverted to the standard search results and it seems fine now… although it would be great if we didn’t have to show all recurring events, just the next upcoming one.
Thanks both. @robswaimea I added some custom text the the event form template that will hopefully make things clearer. Thanks for your input.
It’s from the backend after an event has been created and you try and edit (quick edit or regular edit) to update the event author.
Perfect… many thanks!
