Hey there @newshop
Thanks for your post. This definitely sounds like fishy behavior and I’d like to investigate a bit further. Would you mind providing for me a bit more information to troubleshoot?
– Could you provide the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
– When navigating to the Orders page of an affected customer, what is the value for the Custom Field “mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed” ?
– Does this behavior occur when making a test purchase yourself? Thanks in advance for this info. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Sync issues between Mailchimp and WoocommerceHey there @artgoddess,
Thanks for sharing all this information. I’d be glad to help where I can here. Just to let you know, troubleshooting the automations you’re working with in MailChimp would be best troubleshot with the help of MailChimp’s Support Team. They have the tools to login to your account and help you with some of the errors and unexpected behavior you’re seeing.
That being said, I’d be glad to help troubleshoot these syncing issues you’ve been encountering with the plugin.
To get started, could you provide a few more details including the following?
– Could you provide the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
– Could you provide a screenshot of the ‘Sync’ tab from the MailChimp for WooCommerce settings after the sync has completed? Thanks for these details to help get things started. Regarding the issues you’re seeing with automations, MailChimp’s Support Team would have the necessary tools to help investigate further. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hey @artgoddess
Thanks for the suggestion! I can see how this would be useful to regular customers on your WooCommerce store. I would recommend sharing this feedback on our Github page here: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues This way, our team can have a direct line to how you see this feature being implemented and how it would help solve problems for you and your customers.
If you have anything else to report, please let us know!

– Could you provide the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
– Could you elaborate on the steps you’re taking leading up to navigating to the members e-comm tab?
– If you create a test purchase yourself, does it sync over successfully? Thanks in advance. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Javascript conflict with Pop-up subscribe formHey @vmajor
It is not uncommon for plugins to conflict with one another especially if they’re both running javascript on the page. That being said, since this pop-up form is being added by way of MailChimp’s Native Signup Forms, this would be a javascript conflict with a code snippet provided through MailChimp, and not through the code generated in the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin.
In order to further troubleshoot how MailChimp’s Signup Forms snippet loads on your site, I would recommend reaching out to MailChimp’s Support Team.
If you have any other questions about the plugin, please let us know.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Non translatable strings in ecommerce emails:Hey there @artgoddess
Thanks for getting in touch. Our team is only able to control the functions of the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin, so I’m afraid we wouldn’t have the ability to manipulate the translations found in the Product Retargeting and Order Notification Automations in MailChimp. To inquire further on this, I would recommend reaching out to the MailChimp Support Team.
If you have any other questions about the plugin, feel free to let us know.
– MalachiteHey @alemarengo84
Thanks for following up! I’d be glad to offer some assistance.
– When this issue crops up, does deactivating, removing, reinstalling usually do the trick to resolve it?
– Could you share the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report? I can help double check to see if there’s anything that could be a factor in this intermittent behavior. Thanks in advance,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribedHey there @kristoferlse
We’re still tracking cases of this occurring to learn more about how this behavior is presenting itself. Would you be able to provide some details to help us investigate further?
– What is the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
– What are the specific steps being taken leading up to seeing this behavior occur? Thanks in advance for this. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.
– MalachiteHey there @artgoddess
Thanks for your post. I’m afraid that while the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin does enable e-commerce features in MailChimp, this forum is only able to answer questions directly related to features of the plugin and not e-commerce enabled features enabled within the MailChimp app like Promo Code blocks.
In order to troubleshoot this further, I would recommend reaching out to MailChimp’s Support Team. They’ll have access to the account and can take a deeper look at things. Here’s info on how to reach out to their team:

In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] Strings translationsHey there @francescor
Thanks for your post. I’m afraid that these strings are not editable through the front-facing options of the plugin. That said, there are two workarounds to consider.
First, there is a section in the plugin’s notes that detail how you can go about editing these strings by editing the plugin directly. Here’s a link to that guide: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/mailchimp/#other_notes
If you’re not in a position to manipulate those files yourself, you can deactivate the Javascript functionality in the plugin settings and redirect the submission to a MailChimp Thank You Page. That process is detailed a bit further in the MailChimp Knowledge Base here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/design-and-host-your-own-thank-you-pages
I realize this isn’t quite ideal, so I’ve passed this piece of feedback along to our team so we can make this easier with future updates to the plugin.
Thanks for your feedback, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Crap – but finally got it to workHey @mike1mus
I’m afraid that we do not have a private messaging system for the forums.
That being said, I have gone ahead and reached out to one of my contacts at MailChimp Support to get in touch with you via their Email Support channel. They’ll be able to collect that information and pass it back along to us so we can use this information to improve the plugin.
You should be hearing from MailChimp Support shortly at your account’s primary contact email address. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Crap – but finally got it to workHey @mike1mus
Sorry to hear of these continued issues. Our team would be glad to record this logging and investigate for future updates to the plugin if you’re able to share the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report and the most recent logging you’ve encountered.
I can certainly understand your choice for going with a different plugin moving forward. If there are any other questions we can answer, feel free to let us know.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Moving opt-in box below account registration formHey there @laurendo
Thanks for your post. I noticed that this thread was updated to “Resolved” so I’m wondering if you were able to figure this out on your own.
One thing I did want to add is a handy plugin we’ve used in our testing called Simply Show Hooks. This plugin surfaces any available hooks that you can use to modify the placement of the checkbox in MailChimp for WooCommerce’s settings.
If you do need some further assistance and this issue has not been resolved, please don’t hesitate to touch base and let us know.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Order formHey there @cfm168
The MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin does not have the capability to create a customizable order form to place on your site. This plugin is only designed to sync customers who have made a purchase to a list in MailChimp and provide e-commerce features to your MailChimp account.
We wouldn’t be able to offer any options here in the MailChimp for WooCommerce forums, but you’re welcome to search for a different plugin that offers this functionality.
You can search the Plugin Directory here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/
Or you might want to reach out to WooCommerce’s Support Team for recommendations: https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/
If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know.

Hey @richjdsmith
Thanks for your post. I’m afraid that the plugin is not setup to handle multiple installations of WooCommerce on a single WordPress site.
This is why the plugin settings only show the single option for selecting a list. It’s only designed to connect to a single WooCommerce store to a single MailChimp List. Multiple connections would require multiple WordPress environments with WooCommerce installed in each one.
I realize this might not be ideal. If you are interested in multi-store capabilities, I’d encourage you to share your feedback with our team here.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Malachite
