I am marking this resolved. I just can’t turn off my plugins or change themes without resetting/recreating the sidebars. They are working now at least.
I am now upgraded to 6.9.0 and my sidebars will not work. The default sidebar disappeared from the widget area. I tried to add it back but the default is still showing in the pick list but not in the widget area so I can’t add the child pages back to it and neither “default” generates a menu. None of the sidebars are working. Prior to upgrading to 6.9, every time I have to change themes or turn off plugins to debug, I lose all my widgets. I need to go live by the 2nd week of January and can’t do that without sidebars. I can try to manually set the sidebar in the page templates but I would much prefer to use this plugin. I am looking for an alternative plugin if anyone has a suggestion.

In reply to: [Flamingo] How to I grant or deny roles for flamingo_edit_inbound_messagesI found your code and it looks like you tied all your roles to the edit_users role. I believe that will work for me. Thank you for your time.

In reply to: [Flamingo] How to I grant or deny roles for flamingo_edit_inbound_messagesI was asking you about exposing the role that is specific to your plugin or how you designed setting who has or does not have that role. How do others using your plugin set who can see the incoming messages and who cannot? Form submissions can have some protected information in them and I wanted to know YOUR design for how to protect it. If you don’t know, I will see if I can figure out where you create this role and whether creating a duplicate one with the Members plugin will cause conflict with your code. Thank you.

In reply to: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent@macmanx This thread is marked resolved. Do @caritatang or I need to start a new post to have the translation related and header errors looked at? The issue looked resolved with the release of 6.7.0 but if you have a user that is using a different language than the site language, then the errors reappear and an addition error related to translation appears. Thanks.

In reply to: Cannot modify header information – headers already sentIf I change the language on my profile then these errors showed up:
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wordpress-seo domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. The first two are probably related to a plugin that hasn’t caught up yet, but the “Cannot modify header” one seem to be along the same lines as before.

In reply to: Cannot modify header information – headers already sentThese seem to have been resolved with the latest release of WordPress. Thank you!

In reply to: Cannot modify header information – headers already sentAll of the messages I am getting are for WordPress files, either in wp-admin or wp-includes. I’m using 6.2.2 and did a re-install to see if that would fix it.
I have used Notepad++ to remove all blank lines from the wp-config.php file but I am still getting these messages that always show at the top of the page (admin and UI):
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php:6085) in /var/www/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1438

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php:6085) in /var/www/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 9
Also, when I save things in the admin dashboard I get 2 additional messages with a blank screen below them:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php:6085) in /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1435
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php:6085) in /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1438
I have to remove the part of the URL after wp-admin/ to get it to reload. This happens sometimes when I try to search the list in the view also; is that a clue? How do I find the issue so I can fix it?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can I go from The Event Calendar 5.16.2.1 to latest@iirvin This plugin is tangled up in our custom theme so removing it breaks our mobile menu. However, updating it results in blank pages. Are there parts missing in version 6 that were included in version 5 but are now separate plugins?

The update fixed it for us and no problems since.
