Thanks for your quick response. My mistake, I thought it would add rather than replace. I’ve recreated now and all working.

Backed up, recreated the Post Types and all worked fine – panic over.

I’ll leave this up here in case it helps anyone else.

It looks like all my posts are intact and I can reverse engineer most if not all of the Post Types but I want to hang on until I get a response to this..

Would this be a solution or will these be seen as different Post Types because of their ID etc. If so, please could you give any advice on getting round that (presumably directly in dB)
