Hey @ristretto6
It looks like your are using a page builder here (WPBakery) and our blocks are for the default WordPress editor.
In this scenario you could revert to using the old short-codes to display the products on your pages. Please check the documentation here https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/downloads-shortcode/ for the
[downloads]short-code. You could place that on your page and it will output all of the available products from your site. There are parameters that you can set to the short-code if you wish to list specific products or say products from a specific category only.Hope this helps!
The functionality for Bundles is correct and working as expected. When you do a bundle, you assign Downloads to the bundle product and then you can manage the downloadable files individually in each of the Downloads that are part of the bundle package.
The purpose of the bundle is to give access to other products individually with a single purchase.
Hi @abrasel600
You sent in a support ticket with the support team and we replied to it. We can continue the communication there as we will need a bit more info from you to look into this.
As for the previous EDD version, you can download previous versions at the bottom of this page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/advanced/

You can create your page as normal inside WordPress and if you are using the block editor, on the page, type /EDD Buy and it should show you the Buy Now block you can add to the page.
Here is how a new page looks like in the block editor: https://quicksnip.com/s/5hcv62gqke31j3e
You can add multiple buy now blocks on the page for each of your products.
Alternatively you can add the EDD Products block which will list all of your products and you will have some customisation options for it on the right side of the page as well.
Hey @ristretto6! 👋
Congrats on creating your first product — exciting stuff! 🎉
Here are a few ways you can display your products on your site:
Option 1: Use the Default EDD Products Page When you installed Easy Digital Downloads, it automatically created a Products page for you. You can find it under Pages in your WordPress dashboard. Simply add it to your navigation menu and it’ll work as your store right away!
Option 2: Create a Custom Page Prefer something more personalised? You can create a brand new page, customise it however you like, and then either:
- Add the EDD Products block to display all your products, or
- Use the EDD Buy Button to feature individual products
Option 3: Link Directly to a Product You can also place a specific product anywhere on your site using its unique block code or a custom Add to Cart URL. When a visitor clicks the button, they’ll be taken straight to the checkout with that item already in their cart — super smooth! 😊
How to find the block code or purchase link:
- Edit your product
- Go to the Download Details section
- Click on Settings
- You’ll find the buttons there — like in this screenshot
Then just paste the code onto whichever page you’d like it to appear on!
Hope that helps — let us know if you have any questions! 😊

Warmly,
The Easy Digital Downloads TeamHi @ikerc ,
Great question, and it’s worth understanding how this compares across the WordPress eCommerce landscape, since payment processing fees can be confusing.
When using the free version of Easy Digital Downloads with the included Stripe integration, a small application fee is applied to transactions. This is how the free Stripe gateway is sustained and maintained. The Pro version of EDD removes this entirely, so your only costs are Stripe’s own processing fees.
For context, this is a common model across WordPress eCommerce plugins:
- WooCommerce + WooPayments (their built-in, Stripe-powered gateway): Charges an additional fee on top of standard Stripe processing, starting at 2.9% + $0.30 for US cards, with higher rates for international cards. If you use Stripe directly through a third-party gateway plugin, many of those are premium/paid plugins.
- SureCart: Their free plan charges a 1.9% transaction fee on top of payment processor fees. You need to upgrade to a paid plan ($179–$249/year) to remove it.
- WP Simple Pay: Similar model. The free version includes an application fee on Stripe transactions, which is removed in the paid version.
- Shopify: Charges an additional transaction fee (0.5%–2%) on top of the payment processor’s fees unless you use Shopify Payments.
Stripe’s own standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the US) always apply regardless of which platform or plugin you use. That’s\ between you and Stripe.
So to summarize: the free plugin gives you a fully functional Stripe integration out of the box. If you’d prefer to eliminate the application fee, the Pro version takes care of that while also adding a number of additional features and gateways.
Hope that helps clarify things!
Hey @hopskip
I am sorry for the delay here. Somehow we missed your last reply.
Could you please open a ticket with our team here https://easydigitaldownloads.com/contact/ and reference this topic?
We will take a closer look at this as soon as the ticket comes in. We might need to ask for additional information that we can’t request here on the public forums.
Hey @piyushkoshti
I see you have submitted a few translations on that link so please continue to do that. The team will try to review them and approve them.
Hi @hopskip
Do you have EDD plugin activated on the website? I checked the page https://www.ourcarebooks.com/books-just-4-you/ but I don’t see the EDD plugin as being active on the website.
If you are still having issues with this, please contact our support team via our website so we can look into this further for you.

Hi @jurdaneta
Apologies for the inconvenience!
Could you please give it another try now? The issue should be resolved as it was a temporary issue in the authentication process.

Hey @hopskip
When you edit a Download, switch to the Settings section and that’s where you will find the Buy now or Add to cart quick links.
EDD is a separate plugin from Woo so you don’t need Woo on the site to run EDD.
