When you edit a Download, switch to the Settings section and that’s where you will find the Buy now or Add to cart quick links.
EDD is a separate plugin from Woo so you don’t need Woo on the site to run EDD.

The text comes from a language file which is standard for WordPress core and plugins. This allows for the text to be translated/changed easily. This is not just for EDD but for pretty much all plugins out there.

If you want to edit the actual text, for example to change “First Name” to “Your First Name”, the best way is to use a plugin like Say What: https://en-gb.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/say-what/
It will let you easily replace strings as they are loaded by the plugin. When you set up the string replacement in that plugin use “easy-digital-downloads” as the text-domain.

The registration form is designed to be as slim as possible and will only ask for the username/email and password.
If you are using the WordPress block editor then I recommend using the EDD Registration Form block instead of the short-code.
This will also let you enable/disable the Username field and if you choose to disable that the customer will only have to add an email and a password.
At the moment other fields can’t be added to the form. You also have an option to let the user register directly on the Checkout page or automatically create accounts for them based on their email. The setting for that will be under Downloads > Settings > Payments > Checkout and it is called “Customer Registration”.

You can enable the EDD’s Admin Sale notification email under Downloads > Emails. This email will be sent by EDD every time a new order is placed on your site.
If you wish to receive a notification from PayPal then you would need to check inside your PayPal account to see if there is an option to notify you when a payment has been received.

Looks like you are looking at a Marketplace style functionality. This can be done with EDD but it would require extensions that are not available in the Lite version.
