I have a problem that may be related to this (also payed version):

Although I’ve set ‘Admin Approval of Users’ to ‘Yes’, I get no admin mail when new users register. I have tried to change the admin email address to see if it was a spam issue, but no luck. However, new users do get the welcome email, so the sending mechanism seems to work.

As I recall, it HAS been working earlier…

Yes, and it works: If I don’t enable ‘Email Confirmation’, then everything works: Admin gets an email about the new user registration. But if I enable ‘Email Confirmation’, then the new user gets no email, AND admin also gets no email.

Come to think of it – a confirmation email normally contains a link to a page that says something like ‘Your email is confirmed’ – but which page is that? I haven’t created any page for that purpose – – ??

I also had this issue, and the reason turned out to be that I was using the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin, in which I had set a non-existing ‘From Email’. I created an email forwarder i cPanel, then it worked.
