    Thank you Jacob. The Recent Photos Page looks much better now!

    Good morning Jacob,

    I installed update 6.1.9 today.

    I also applied the custom css that you provided.

    <<I patched it on your site and will remove them from the code in the next version.>>

    Do you have to remove the patches now?

    Thank you Jacob!

    I prefer a ‘minimalist’ design so this is very helpful (thousands of little parenthesis are now gone).

    The captions now display the correct album-link color (red).

    For my sake, let’s leave this post ‘Unresolved‘ until the patches are removed.

    Donation on its way!

    Jacob,

    I have worked on this and I believe the best solution is to remove the parenthesis.

    How may I just remove or hide the left and the right parenthesis please???

    Thank you very much!

    (@mtibesar)

    Now I understand – duh!

    Thank you for explaining this!

    I will now have to re-think this Jacob.

    #1.) Can I limit the caption to just the link to the album?

    #2.) Can I change the left-parenthesis and right-parenthesis to the red color (not white)?

    #3.) If I can’t change the color of the parenthesis, can I just remove the parenthesis?

    Understand.

    We will implement it on a priority basis then incrementally (largest albums first).

    Thank you very much!

    Thank you very much!

    <<Set the value of Sub album sort order on the album admin page of the parent of the users main albums to See Table IV-D1 ( the default ) or to Timstamp reverse>>

    Is there a way to “batch set” all Parent albums Sub album sort order to Timestamp reverse?

    Otherwise, your plugin is one of the best free all-in-one gallery plugins we found.

    Nothing is free.

    Jacob spends an incredible amount of time developing and supporting this photo management system. Please help sustain this incredible plugin. You will see the appropriate Donate links in your list of Plugins within your WordPress Admin.

    WPPA+ is by far the best “free” or “premium” photos management software you will find. Nothing matches the support the author provides and the power of this program. Its configuration options and customizations are unmatched. If you are serious about managing a large archive of photos this plugin is absolutely TOP NOTCH and it is very stable and secure. In the 5 years or so we have used the plugin we have had no interruptions in delivering photos to our members. I simply cannot say enough good about this program and especially about Jacob’s unending support.

    Hello Jacob,

    This is a very, very useful feature since I will want to add my own custom fields to each front-end upload.

    For example:

    Who
    What
    Where
    When

    This is so nice since it encourages my visitors to include this vital information when uploading their photos!

    I am looking forward to its full implementation.

    Thank you for always improving the plugin!

    I have now completed the styling of the two pages (cited in previous comment) and all their many elements (buttons, percent, progress, text, boxes, backgrounds, etc etc).

    The one difficulty is styling the Upload Photos within the Photo Albums Page due to jQuery changing the element names for each album.

    Here is the JetPack custom css I wrote just to document this adventure 😉

    /* BEGIN HERE WordPress Photo Album Plus styling */

    /* Style the Upload Photos page button */
    .wppa-upload-uploadbox {
    	color: #ffffff;
    	background-color: #0068B3;
    	font-family: "Open Sans", Arial, sans-serif;
    }

    #wppa-upload-box-1.wppa-box.wppa-upload {
    	background-color: #0068B3;
    }

    /* Style text entered into Upload Photos */
    .wppa-box-text wppa-file-1 font-primary {
    	color: #000000;
    }

    /* Style Upload Photos Progress Bar */
    .wppa-progress {
    	color: #ffffff;
    }

    #progress--1.wppa-progress {
    	border-color: #ffffff !important;
    }

    /* Style Upload Photos Percent Indicator */
    .wppa-percent {
    	top: -27px;
    }

    /* Style the Upload photo Button that appears after choosing a file */
    #wppa-user-submit--1 {
    	background-color: #00A4E4;
    }

    /* Style the No-File-Chosen on the Upload Photos Page */
    #wppa-user-upload--1.wppa-user-file.font-primary {
    	color: #ffffff;
    }

    Here is the Custom Style options box coding for the Search Photos Page you suggested:

    .wppa-search::before {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ffffff;
    font-family: "Open Sans", Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: small;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    content: "Search the photos";
    }

    Thank you for all the assistance with this Jacob. Donation will be forthcoming!!!

    Yes, I have used this option many, many times.

    I have been trying to style the Upload Photos pages at:

    https://tibesar.com/photo-albums/

    (and)

    https://tibesar.com/upload-photos/

    I have been somewhat successful but have not yet been able to style the:

    Enter Photo Name

    (and)

    Enter / Modify Photo Description

    The problem is when I style an element in the front-end’s Upload Photo it affects other unintended elements. Very frustrating and I must proceed carefully.

    I will try to style Enter Photo Name and Enter/Modify Photo Description text tonight.

    p.s. I have had some success with just styling all the fonts white (#ffffff) and all the backgrounds a blue color.

    I can tell you this Jacob, styling the WPPA plugin is not as easy as styling other parts of my website – ha!

    I didn’t realize there was a Custom Style area we could use.

    This worked great!

    I had to add some additional styling and now it matches the rest of the theme.

    Thank you very much!

    Good morning Jacob,

    I already have that shortcode on my tibesar.com/search-photos page.

    What I need is a placeholder (within the search box) that states “Search…” please.

    Currently the search box is empty and needs a placeholder to guide the visitor when searching.

    Thank you very much
