    Thanks Richard.
    It’s the WP Editor that’s inserting the spans automatically.
    I will have to find a work around within my limited knowledge.

    I will give firebug a try.

    I found the problem.
    I cut and paste the review from the website.
    When I view the text as opposed to visual it looks like this.
    If I take out the html it works fine.
    For my own education, what about the html below is preventing the text from being seen?

    I don’t think I am doing anything differently.

    If I test yesterday’s testimonials they appear fine.
    Today I click Add New Testimonial, enter a heading and some text in the body and when I click review it brings up the heading and date but no body text.
