    Hi Vinod – thanks for all your support.

    I seem to have found a temporary fix. There is a bug in the latest version of the Theme so I have rolled back to the previous version and the customize section has reappeared.

    Thanks for all your input – I really appreciate your time and help with this. Hope to speak gain on the forums 🙂

    There are no error messages just a customization page which is perpetually loading. There were a few options previously but now there are none. I can send you a temporary login if I could private message it to you?

    Hi Vinod,

    Thanks – that’s quite difficult for someone with no programming knowledge 🙂 I have found the file manager and changed the line from false to true. Does that mean you can see what’s causing the problem?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply – my c-panel says that ‘This domain inherits its PHP version “ea-php56” from: System Default’. I updated to version 7.1 in another area but it didn’t seem to make any difference.

    I’m not a techie at all and don’t know how to enable WP DEBUG mode – I’m anxious that I’m going to do something that I can’t undo and make things worse…..

    Maybe time to switch to another theme?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the replies.

    I have tried clearing the cache and the error is the same in other browsers but I can access the customize section with other themes like Twenty Seventeen.

    There is no Javascript error – it’s just that the customize section hangs in load mode – it’s very odd.

    I’m not sure what else to do…….

    Do you have any other ideas?
