Thanks Ross. I purchased it through wordpress.com and I never received email notifications. The notifications are in the dashboard of wordpress.com only and now my site has not been renewed and I can’t get hold of anyone at wordpress.com as there is now no option for me to renew in the dashboard either. I have emailed their support people and posted in the wordpress.com forum so hopefully I will get some help there. I’ll close this thread as it is dot com not dot org that I need help with.

There’s no theme conflict as TagDiv updated the theme to the lates and wordpress to 5.4.4 – the galleries were available then.

I took wordpress back to what it was before Theme was updated and that’s when i lost the gallery option. BUT the gallery option was there when i had the earlier theme.

I wouldn’t know how to disable a theme to check for conflict. I’m a news site and i don’t want the site off line.

Yes I tried that Classic block in Gutenberg but it also had same issues. I have rolled back to 5.2.7 and will probably go up to 5.3 for now because the issues do not allow me to manage my site effectively. I can’t upload news in a prompt manner using the Gutenberg and it disables Yoast and also my image options.

One thing that has happened in the rollback is I can now not see the Add Gallery options. When I go to insert media I can add one photo or offer a TagDiv slide who’s but I don’t have the add gallery – mosaic, tiles, thumbnails, square, slideshow options normally. Do you know how I re-instate that?

I need to revert to 5.2.7
