That is a good question, and I’m not sure. We are going to purchase some support and I will respond with results.
Here as well, can’t wait for the next update, really looking forward to it!
I have the same question, I have not found any resolution, the closest I have found is a thread about querying pages, which is not all applicable.

I’m not sure, but by adding a post query to the function function get_featured_posts(), within featured-content.php, may be worth exploringForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Changing featured content from posts to pagesThis is a change I’ve been attempting to make, I have a lot to learn so I’m asking to help a brotha out. I have two quick questions in order to accomplish flushing this out,
1. recieved: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Featured_Content in “” after addingdefine('Featured_Content', true); require 'path-name/inc/featured-content.php';to functions. Not sure of the proper way to resolve this with a child theme.
2. Would you be so kind to post your example of querying get_pages?
What you are pointing to is the top padding of the content area, editable through using a child theme. It isn’t intended to be used for advertising, so using a child theme to add an ad would mean customizing a content area with the same attributes as the padding, or you could just make a sticky post.

Reading me wrong, :/Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Navigation within the same categoryThanks, preserving the same navigation with the addition of previous_in_category in a child theme is my intent. I was hoping someone would have a suggestion on how to incorporate it within twentythirteen_paging_nav().
Not interested in changing the look, only this functionality.

In reply to: [Plugin: Gravity Forms] tw-sack Javascript syntax errorI am running Gravity Forms 1.7.3 on WP 3.5.1 and receiving an error in Chrome after clicking a field button, also, after adding a new form the pop-up window does not respond, this is the resulting error:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token < [http://www.MySite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=11:3]
I have followed the steps as suggested from jeffvand.
Changing my theme, deactivating everything at once, reactivating GF, and even re-installing it with no success.Any suggestions are very helpful!

In reply to: [Slideshow] IE removal issueI was using 2.2.1, I don’t claim it was an error with the plugin, to me, it seems like more of an odd caching issue, I just could not resolve it. I hadn’t seen anything like it prior.

In reply to: [Slideshow] IE removal issueI was trying to uninstall this plugin, because I didn’t have it in me to add any mobile functionality to it. I have since started working on re-installing WordPress all together. I’m not sure if it’s directly to due with the plug in or not, but since there was a part re-written for IE recently that was my suspicion.
I did not expect a reply therefore dove into a re-install, but it’s due to issues with parts of this plugin not being removed out of IE, and some mobile browsers. Firefox and Chrome had no issues responding to un-installation.
