In reply to: [WooCommerce] Ability to archive ordersI tried the 3 year old plugin which works in a fashion.
You can’t use bulk actions to archive several orders which is a shame.
Instead you have to open each order and change the order status to shipped (archived) and then update, a little more time consuming but it’s the best current option (free) out there.

I had seen that but didn’t bother with it as it hadn’t been updated for 3 years and was untested with the current version of Woo so thought best not install something that could be buggy.
I did test orders and deleted them from the dashboard but of course they are deleted from the users account order history which is no good.
Surprised there isn’t a current plugin for this as what do other people do with orders – just let them build up?! seems crazy to me that.
If you can leave this topic open and see if anyone else replies with alternatives please.

I’d really rather not do that as I’ve re-imported it twice now already which didn’t change anything and since then I’ve added user roles and changed some of the users info to the new roles which if I ran the import again would mess that up.
If there’s no other way of resolving this I’ll just leave it as is.
I presume if and when customers are sent password resets and they do that and then login it will then link customers and users again?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] customers and users not linking woocommerceI didn’t use a tool to migrate as I thought it’d be as simple as exporting the 3 databases – customers, orders, products and then importing them, I now think otherwise!
I deleted all the account info from Shopwired and the account is now closed with them so I can’t re-run anything and have only the data I exported.
From what I understand of Woo, a new customer sign up is linked OK so there are only two issues with the majority of the customers that aren’t linked – the link isn’t active and their passwords don’t work so I’ll have to sent password reset emails to them.
Is it essential that customers are linked and if so is there a way to do this?

In the end I decided to change themes and have installed Astra which seems easier to edit and looks really clean with a lot of the font sizes already at a perfect size.
I’ll check out that link for CSS @maykato as I don’t know anything about it and it’d be nice to learn that!
@rainfallnixfig I’ll also check out the guide on how to override templates as well.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Font sizes and renamingThanks, that code worked well (for that section) but now I’m noticing LOTS of other sections need changing too, it’s such a shame there aren’t better methods of adjusting settings like this in the theme settings which would make these changes globally to all categories/pages as it’s a right faff having to code each page! (I’m coming from a ShopWired background where they have simple ways of making such changes)
My second point, I get that but I need to change the word Billing to Shipping, can this be done?
If a customer can only enter one address which will be used for both billing and shipping then this will be picked up by the payment processor anyway and will be the same address so surely this can be changed as when it just shows billing address it might make customers think they have to enter a shipping address later on and cause confusion.
I hope that makes sense as I feel the initial question was a little bit lost on you?

I changed that code to 1.5en which works for me and got the following result:
Is there a way to change the font sizes for the rest of the menu items on the left underneath there and the text to the right that starts “The following addresses will be used…”?
I made the change to the settings at
WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options
Radio button “Force shipping to the customer billing address” ticked
If it isn’t ticked it shows the default two options customers can enter billing and shipping addresses
