Oh, I see what I did. Look at the image for the instruction set about adding my logo. At the bottom of the callout box it says “Add a custom logo using the Site Logo plugin”.
So i looked up “Site Logo” and there happened to be an old plugin with that name.
My bad. 🙂
Interesting. I got to work this morning and noticed both local and live site wanted to update the theme to Version 1.1.1.
I did that to both locations. Then both failed to show the logo.
So, i uninstalled the plugin “site-logo” and installed Jetpack on the live site. And bang after a bit the logo appeared as it was supposed to.
But the instructions for the theme state you are to use the “site-logo” plugin. Maybe the instructions should be looked over?
Thanks for the heads up on Jetpack, tho i have no idea as to why that is making the logo option available. 🙂
