Thats my whole issue. Under screen options tab at top, there is no box to check for ‘filename’. All the other boxes are there but nothing for filename.

thanks for info. did everything you suggested, cleared cache, Im the administrator, all plugins are uptodate and deactivated, wordpress 6.2.2 on both sites, no custom codes on either site as Im the only one who runs them. Activated twenty-twenty-three. Made no difference. I even ftp’d into my sites files to see if there was anything leftover in themes or plugins but couldn’t find anything unusual.
