Hello

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I’m not using WooCommerce for registration, it’s there because previous customers were on that with PayPal and I didn’t want to lose them by moving to Stripe/PMS but I will check the settings.

The import/export plugin I only installed yesterday so I could check for the ‘enable toolbar’ option. That’s now done, so it can go.

I’ll be working on this today and hopefully fix the problems.

Thank you so much for your detailed response. A friend set up the website for me a long time ago and I wasn’t sure what plugin did what job.

Now I know where to look next.

I created a new page, and it made no difference. I can only see the registration form if I put it into a different browser. But then, it’s not per the documentation for the plugin.

It is not in the style of the website and doesn’t look very professional.

Is this what I get with the free version? This is what I was expecting:

Hello,

There were a number of empty containers on that page, so I got rid of all of them and added the login widget again.

But when viewing the page in another browser, I still don’t have the login form that I’m expecting per the user documentation.

I’ve since discovered that the way my staging site is set up with WP Staging Pro, I can’t swap the licenses about without affecting the live site.

So I’m sorting out alternatives. But I’ll find the Facebook group and join, thank you.

Hello – just to let you know that CoSpark that has been helping me have sorted this. I’ve no idea what they did, but it works.

Thank you for your reply. Now that I know where it’s coming from, I went to the WordPress settings and changed the admin email to the one I want to use.

But thank you anyway. The Email plugin I’m using isn’t very good, so I’ll try WPMailSMTP.

I just solved it myself – should of held off a bit.

I found the end points in the general options section and saw that there was one for reset password which was called ‘edit password’ so I changed it to reset-password and tried again and it’s worked.
