Hi @wpsoul, maybe you misunderstood the suggestion of both @romlim and @mariojazz. They are Not asking for adding the <p> tag to the “Advanced Heading” block, they were asking for adding a completely Separate/Independent “Paragraph Block”.
Additionally in the last update 3.0, the “Advanced Heading” and also the “Heading with circle Number” Blocks are showing this error message when I try to use them –> “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”
Regards
Hi @rinart73,
I perfectly understand what you are asking for with “Custom SVG Icon”, simply Copy and Paste the SVG “HTML” code of the icon you need.
I suggest You to use the Greenshift plugin. This is a Gutenberg Page Builder plugin much more powerful than Otter and have the ability to add “Custom SVG Icons(HTML code)” in almost all its blocks. It’s really awesome and beautiful. Here the link –> https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Only recommended for Advanced Users and DevelopersHi Tom, in my review I’m Not referring to the GeneratePress flexibility to build “Business/Corporate” websites, because for this type of websites GeneratePress is very good. I’m referring to the “Blog/Archive” and “Single Posts” customization through the GeneratePress Customizer. There are a Lot of things/elements that can Not be customized “Out of the Box” for the “Blog/Archive” and “Single Posts” because simply the options for that are Not available even in GeneratePress PREMIUM. I can’t give you some suggestions of options that I think should be included in the GP Premium Customizer because there are Too many missing Design customization options for “Blog/Archive” and “Single Posts”. My best advice is to install for example the “Blocksy”, “Suki” or “Kadence” theme, any of them in a testing website and see for Yourself what options are missing in GeneratePress Premium. The only way that you understand me is to try any of these themes for yourself.
Like a said in my review, if a “Non-coder” wants to create a Unique/Professional looking “Blog” with GeneratePress, this “Non-Coder” user will have to spend a Lot of time with the GeneratePress support forum asking for the “Custom CSS” needed for each design customization that he want. That would be a Lot of time and back and forth with the GeneratePress support for days. Otherwise, the user will end up with a Non-Professional, too generic and too basic website design.
On the other hand, with a theme like the ones mentioned above, any Beginner & Non-coder will be able to customize almost Everything they want using only the Customizer. Fast and easy, saving this way a Lot of valuable time.
Hi “UG” Team, thanks for your reply.
It would be awesome if You Go the extra mile here, and decide to use only one CSS file and one JavaScript file on the front-end, even when we are using all the blocks at the same time. This is the way it’s already been done by the developers of the competing product “Stackable – Gutenberg Blocks”. I know that this will require some extra work from your developers, but honestly the gains in “Page Loading Speed” and “Efficiency” well worth the effort.
If you make this changes, then definitely “Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg” would be the Best all around Gutenberg plugin.
Thanks for reading.
Hi @raydale,
I agree 100% with Your review, where You say that “UAG” is a really great plugin. I also think that “Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg” has the potential to replace in the future the current Super Bloated Page Builders like Elementor. Elementor is insanely popular due to its extreme flexibility, feature availability, design capabilities and easy of use, but sadly is bloated as Hell. Also the Spaghetti code of nested divs created by the Page Builders is truly horrible like is showed in this video -> https://youtu.be/KDGwVfj1jr4
Like You said in your review, the guys from BrainStorm Force have a reputation of good quality coding and for this reason I’m sure that they will Go the Extra Mile here and will replace jQuery and all the external libraries with only the strictly necessary “Vanilla Javascript” code in order to reduce the Page Weight and the number of http requests. And with this they will show us that they are truly committed to bring us the absolute best products.
