I think I opened the ticket but as you do not get an E-mail confirmation nor a ticket number I am not sure if it was succesfull or not. Also I have no way of following the ticket status which is quite frustrating when you have a not working website with webshop. Please update me if the ticket was opened and the ticketnumber so I can follow the progress.

@bdbrown I checked and I did post it to the correct forum in the firstplace but not getting any response, I kept on looking for possible solutions through Google and noticed this thread that there is a solution offered to what seems to be exactly my problem, so I posted that I am curious in that solution not realizing I was in the wrong forum perhaps @backupguard can help me out.
@bdbrown Oke I will post my problem there too. I just posted this here because it exactly seems to describe my current urgent problem and this problem seem to be solved here
This best describes the problem I am encountering at the moment. But I can not see the solution that was given. I tried a lot of things found on the web but I have a webshop down for more than 12 hours now. I think I opened a support ticket but not feedback whatsoever.

And it actually works but after all my random categories it display also de same categories in alfabetic order.
I believe you should not modify the custom-functions.php of your theme but use the small custom plugin to add the code so that your code is not overwritten if you receive an update of your theme
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
