I have AIOSEO activated but I have today put the google ID manually in header.php as the plugin does not pick up the code… since oct 22.
I did update the plugin on oct 21.Thank you. Take in example this page: https://www.askmrnilsson.se/stickresa-faroarna/
I discovered something: I am using shortcodes and when sharing, the plugin takes the first text on the page outside of the shortcodes.
But, why does it take the text and inlcude <p> </p>?
And secondly, why does the plugin not pick up the og:description that I put in the tab of social settings?- This reply was modified 8 years, 7 months ago by PillanAnder.
I dont mean its an issue from the plugin. I more wonder if the plugin can set a default image for the website (as you can set if you use the social media feature).
It seems Google need some time!? Now it is ok.
