In reply to: [Etsy Integration For WooCommerce] combining variationsHi there,
Thank you for the update and for sharing what you discovered.
You are correct. Special characters such as brackets in attribute names (for example, “Size (cm)”) can prevent the attribute from being properly recognized in the variation profiling section. Renaming the attribute to a simpler format like “Size” usually resolves this behavior.
I’m glad to hear that you were able to identify the cause and get it working on your end. Please feel free to reach out if you run into any other questions while setting up your variations for Etsy. We’ll be happy to assist.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Etsy Integration For WooCommerce] I cant upload products woocommece to etsyHi Laju,
Thank you for confirming that the plugin is already updated to the latest version.
The error you are encountering is related to the “When was it made” attribute, which is a mandatory requirement for Etsy. Currently, the selected value
2020_2024is not accepted by Etsy’s API, which is why the upload is failing. To resolve this, please follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings in the plugin
- Navigate to Mandatory product information for Etsy marketplace
- Locate the “When was it made” field
- Update the value to one of Etsy’s supported options, such as 2020_2026, or any other applicable option
- Save the settings
- Try uploading the product again
Once this value is updated correctly, the product upload should work without any errors.
If the issue still persists after updating this setting, please let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate further.

In reply to: [Etsy Integration For WooCommerce] No reply from your supportHi @ole_wilkenburg ,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience.
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response and understand how frustrating this experience must have been.Since this conversation is taking place on the forum, we are currently unable to see the email address you may have used to contact our support team earlier.
To help us verify this, could you please confirm which email address you used when submitting your previous support requests? This will allow us to check and ensure that no messages were missed on our end.Regarding the product linking behavior, I would like to clarify how existing products are linked within the plugin.
For products to be fully linked between WooCommerce and Etsy, all of the following conditions must match exactly on both platforms:
- The SKU must be identical
- The variation titles must match
- The number of variations must be the same
If only the SKU matches and the other criteria do not, the products will be SKU-linked instead of fully linked. SKU-linked products allow inventory and order syncing, but product details such as title and description are not synced, unlike fully linked products.
You can verify the linking status directly from the Etsy Products page within the app.At this point, we do not yet have enough details to confirm why the products were not fully linked in your case. To help us investigate further, it would be very helpful if you could share:
- Whether the affected products are simple or variable products
- How many products are impacted
- Confirmation that SKUs, variation titles, and attributes match exactly on both WooCommerce and Etsy
- Screenshots from the Etsy Products page in the app showing the linking status
Please feel free to reach out to us via our dedicated support email at [email protected] for quicker and more convenient support.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Etsy Integration For WooCommerce] Ordernot fetching Email AddressHi @trakesh16 ,
Thank you for your follow-up.
Apologies once again for the delay in responding to your email. To clarify your query yes, you are correct.
Etsy’s API currently does not expose user email addresses due to their privacy policy and limitations. This means that even with plugin customizations, it is not possible to fetch user email addresses directly from Etsy at this time through the plugin. We understand that this limitation might impact your workflow, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience it may cause. If Etsy updates their API in the future to include access to this data, we will be sure to sync it accordingly.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else.
Best regards,
