I’m having a similar issue with the lostpassword/?error=invalidkey
It seems to happen when a user account was created via social logins.
they are able to trigger an email to set a password using the entry box and button found on the lostpassword page.- This reply was modified 3 years, 8 months ago by punchbuggyblue.

In reply to: [Spotlight Social Feeds - Block, Shortcode, and Widget] Feed Stopped workingI’m not seeing feed images in my IG Spotlight either,
I’ve updated the plugin, purged my server cache and still have this:https://snipboard.io/BzAq4j.jpg
Just a grey square where my most recent post should appear.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Plugin won’t allow me to access wp_adminThat works…but not sure why I am unable to use the other link.
It’s a recent issue.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Theme My Login] Invalid Email – User can’t registerYes…and it is my first thought that as well, except I myself have had the same error in the past when creating a user. So, I wonder if there might be some other bug at play. (For the most recent person reporting the error, I also double checked that they were not already registered using that email address.)
While we’re at it, any idea why sometimes users don’t have a clickable area or a fill-in field when they receive an email to change their password. (I have experienced this as well, once – I had to use my Admin login and change the password manually, which is what I end up doing for the users who have this same problem. I should note, It’s rare. I have about 30 new users per day, but only once a month or two does someone report this error.)

In reply to: [WP-Forge] Menu Loading IncorrectlyThanks for your help.
It was a conflict with a plugin, as you predicted.
specifically:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/So, as of now, there is a brief flicker as the page loads where it appears to opt quickly for the mobile version of the menu and then immediately adapts to the PC version. Which is a HUGE improvement. – I’m assuming this is normal functionality as it is a responsive theme. (?)
Thanks!

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Password Reset Box not DisplayingWonderful!
Thanks @shoshorov & @welshlamb10I too have been struggling with this issue, and am using WP-Forge as my theme.
This post along with this one gave me the tools I needed to fix it!https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/resetting-password-page/
Perfect!
Punchbuggyblue – no punch backs!
Problem is both mobile and desktop, here’s a link to what I’m seeing:

The only clickable button appears below this screenshot and says “reset password.”And here’s what it looks without the plugin, using the standard wordpress forgotten password link. I just did it for this account.

In reply to: [WP-Forge] Remove Featured Image From PostsThanks!
I was thinking it was more of a “can I?” question.
I’m not familiar with the Customization tabs in the out of the box version of Forge I’m using.Since I “can’t” I’ll find a work around. 🙂
Totally get where you’re coming from Amigo!
Have an awesome weekend!

In reply to: [WP-Forge] WP-Forge – custom CSS edits^^
I guess to clarify I’m ACTUALLY talking about the appearance-customize section of the dashboard…not the appearance-editor.It does appear in the appearance-editor.
With a big warning button to not edit it!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [WP-Forge] WP-Forge – custom CSS editsYes…that’s where is “should be” but did you see my screen shot?

So, I downloaded it using the link you provided. but got this message when I uploaded the .zip:

In reply to: Fatal Syntax Error Registration form and now can't access entire siteOk, I was wondering if I can just manually delete the plugin, or if it would cause some kind of other (worse) problem. I guess I’ll try that!
I didn’t make any changes to my site recently, so I’m not sure why this fatal error is occurring…
weird.
