Finally managed to resolve the issue. I used
$post_title = get_the_title($post->ID)
and that does the job 🙂

Using get_content() brakes the page… Any other ideas?

I don’t even get that option.

The only custom filed that works is the inputs. If I have it as textarea or checkbox they don’t save.
