Just a quick question, not sure when or how I should use the Protected Users list. If I select the Role ” Dealers” should I also select all the users I do not want to reset the passwords in the Protected Users list?

In reply to: [Plainview Protect Passwords] Password Protect does not seem to be workingThat for your reply Edward, the only thing I have is AAM and what I did is change the Subscriber role to be named Dealer since I am setting up Dealer accounts on the website.
I tried several different installs, live, local etc. but don’t get any protection from selecting the Dealer role or individual users. I’ll keep trying to figure it out.
I don’t want Dealers to reset their password other wise it will be an issue.

After some more testing I noticed that if I disable scan for malicious URLs, the scan executes and completes successfully. If I enable this option the scan gets hung and never finishes.

When I access the login page, the Unknown error is generated. If I keep refreshing the login page without entering anything I get the error each time. When I enter my login and password and click the reCaptcha I get a login successful message.

They replied with the following:
When the plugin reports a failed or successful login, it does so because WordPress triggered the “wp_login” or “wp_login_failed” action respectively. There must be something else going on in your environment that is causing the trigger to run, notice that it also says “Unknown” where the plugin should report your username, meaning that WordPress is actually missing the metadata for the account when passing the login attempt to the plugin.
I think I found the issue and I’m not sure if it is the plugin or Sucuri.
The plugin that is causing it is: Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA
When I access the wp-login page Sucuri send the message :
Unknown User authentication failed: Unknown
whenever I access the page and do not enter any login or password. After login and password entry, I do receive a successful login message.

I get the same, does not work any longer.
I just updated WordPress to 4.1.3 and cannot login, get times out with a 405 Not Allowed.
