In reply to: [Hueman] Internet ExplorerAlright! I checked for possible updates a number of times and yesterday the option of updating to 1903 was there. So I updated. And voila, now in Edge my website – https://aaagnostica.org – looks beautiful!
Finally.
Thanks so much for your help Milan!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Hueman] Internet ExplorerHi Milan,
My Microsoft Edge is still bad but it’s still Edge 44.17763.1.0. I can’t find which version of Windows I have though. Does Windows not update by itself? Wouldn’t Edge then follow suit and also update? If I have to update one or both, could you kindly tell me how? I guess I ain’t a tech savvy, eh?
Thanks Milan,

In reply to: [Hueman] Internet ExplorerGreat stuff, Milan: thanks for exploring the problem and finding that difference with the versions of Edge.
I did not contact Microsoft Edge but please do and provide me with that link.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Hueman] Internet ExplorerThe homepage of my website still looks awful on Microsoft Edge. Input would indeed be nice. Thanks, Roger.

In reply to: [Hueman] Internet ExplorerThanks Nicolas. I use Microsoft Edge 44.17763.1.0. I don’t use it much, I admit. I went to the settings and cleared the browsing history, cookies and saved website data and cached data and files. And it said “All cleared!” or something like that. I then closed the browser and turned off the computer. And when I turned it back on and came back to Microsoft Edge, the home page still looked bad: either all white or some white and some of the featured images and some of the texts. Weird, to say the least. I would definitely appreciate any other suggestions! Roger.

In reply to: [Hueman] Change Sidebar WidthsHi Katarina and/or others,
I just saw your answer to Shannon (some 3 months ago) about how to change the left sidebar to 250px by adding to the custom css.
I would like to make the left sidebar the exact same size as the right sidebar, and I would like to do this without messing anything else up. I like my Hueman Pro! But I would prefer if the column layout for the main content were wider, and the best way to do this methinks would be to make the left sidebar narrower, i.e. the same size as the right sidebar. For me, the left sidebar is a tad too wide anyway.
If you can tell me how best to do this – I like the custom css method! – that would be greatly appreciated.
Roger.
Hiya,
It is just the space after the posts that needs to be eliminated. It’s the space that contained the tags until I added this to the custom css: “.post-tags {display: none;}”. Here is a link to a screenshot of what it looks like now (I can’t paste it here):
https://aaagnostica.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Space.jpg
See the space after the words 12 Secular Steps? That’s the end of the blog, and I added the horizontal line. Just want to get rid of the space easily! A custom css would be great.
Thanks.
Actually, it’s just the space that needs to go!
Hi,
I have removed the tags at the bottom of posts with this:
.post-tags {display: none;}
Is there another css code I could use to remove the space and border line that were part of the tags. You can see what I’m talking about here: https://aaagnostica.org/2018/12/09/5-ways-sobriety-changes-over-time/.
Sure would be great if there was!

In reply to: [Hueman] views meta keyI use Jetpack to count the number of views of each article. It has collected these site statistics for me over the past seven years or so. You can see all of this information on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

In reply to: [Hueman] Author in postsHi!
On the advice of a friend who understands this stuff way better than I do, I put two things in the css option in theme customizer:
.post-byline {display: none;}
.post-tags {display: none;}It worked! The byline disappeared. The tags at the bottom of the post disappeared. BUT the spaces where the bylines and tags were are still there. Annoying. A lot of space especially where the tags were.
How to get rid of these spaces?
Thanks!
Roger.
I love the Hueman Pro theme!
