In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Not workingBOOM! Fixed. Turns out that comments were turned on after the few pages were published. So, all pages published before installing wpDiscuz had no available comment area for the plugin to work with.
Works great with two minor issues we’re working on right this minute.
Wonderful plugin! AND it has lots of customization. Hint, you might want to consider a user manual, though. I’d certainly volunteer to write it!!
Cheers!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] Link Thumbnails Break on PostingI have found information here that deals with security efforts by sites to protect their images. This does not resolve the issue I’m having.
When a user pastes a link and clicks “Preview”, the link works just fine. The user can select whatever image is available and it shows up in the preview. The user can then click “Add Link” and the link posts with the image.
BUT, if the screen refreshes, the image breaks. Other users also see a broken image. I have turned off all of my plugins and the problem persists.

In reply to: [MesoColumn] Remove Page Links From HeaderI tried that but, it deletes the entire banner, not just the links. Is there no way to control what links appear in the banner? It seems to be auto-generated and tied into the creation of pages. Even without a menu, those links are generated and placed inside the red banner.

In reply to: [MesoColumn] Remove Page Links From HeaderThank you for the response. Unfortunately, that simply creates a duplicate menu somewhere else on the page (for example, on the right hand side). There are pages in the footer menu which are duplicated in the header. I’m trying to isolate these links into single locations. My links to About, Terms of Service, Privacy, Join! (that’s the name of my “register” page), and Contact are all in the blue footer with the copyright and your name. Those same pages appear in the red banner (that is the header, yes?).
You can see what I’m talking about if you’ll go to the site: http://www.americannexus.net
You’ll have to create an account. Hope that’s not too troubling.

In reply to: [MesoColumn] Change Theme Color for WidgetsSorry for taking so long to respond.
The foot issue has been solved for the most part. I don’t know if it’s the span or not but, the attribution continues to remain one line below the corpyright and the footer menu. Looks kind of weird but, it will work for now for my purposes.
In regard to the logo in the header, I have a space for the logo (you can see a square outlined) and now that I have the logo, itself, do I need to insert it’s location into the code (i.e., “source = ?”) or should it auto insert like the square outline did?

In reply to: [MesoColumn] Change Theme Color for WidgetsAgain, Thank you for you’re assistance.
The first piece of code worked.
The second, however, not quite. Although there is now a distinct separation: copyright on the left; menu in the center; attribution on the right; they appear as if they’re on different lines within the footer.
Copyright
Menu
AttributionIr doesn’t show on here. Won’t let me format it like it is on the footer.
Did I do something incorrectly?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [MesoColumn] Change Theme Color for WidgetsIf I use the primary menu won’t that simply duplicate the buddypress menu that I’m currently using?
Also, is there any way to split the footer into 3 parts, with each part adjustable so that I can left align the copyright, center my footer menu, and right align your attribution? Sort of like making the footer a table with 3 columns?

In reply to: [MesoColumn] Change Theme Color for WidgetsThank you.
Two small issues have arisen.
I’m working with a local installation of BuddyPress with your theme.
On the current “Home” page, just above the “Activity” page when logged into BP, I have been attempting to remove the “uncategorized” tag(?) above the phrase “Site-Wide Activity”. I can’t seem to get that to work.
Also, in the footer, I’m locating links to our company information (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, About, Contact, etc.). All of the links are right aligned and I can’t find any way to center them in the footer. Is that custom CSS or is there something I’m simply not seeing?
Thank you so much for your patience.

I do have another question but, I’m not certain what to do here. Should I ask it here or make another post?

In reply to: [Author: WP Symposium] Import Existing Membership DataYou have been a tremendous help. Do you happen to know anyone who may know the details of making such a move?

In reply to: [Author: WP Symposium] Import Existing Membership DataOk, I don’t think you understand. I already have a membership. I’m using Oxwall – a Facebook clone – as a social networking platform. Not liking it, at all.
I want to change to WP and WPS but, I don’t know how to move my current members’ information and accounts from Oxwall to a new installation of WP or if that’s even possible. If it IS possible what files do I need to make it work so that I can have them using Symposium right away?
