My time is very limited, I need to find some for the live chat support. It may take a few days. Or maybe it’s easier for me to change the plugin. Anyways, thank you so far!

This should work.
Made a screen recording. How can I send you?
This was the thread where I found this issue:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/order-confirmation-will-be-sent-twice/
A screen shot won’t help. I added myself for BCC in customer emails and can only say, that the customer received the order confirmation twice from us. In Woocommerce nothing can be seen. This only ever happened with this plugin.
Unfortunately, I had to deactivate the plugin again for another reason: Suddenly a couple orders failed, with one customer telling us that he tried but couldn’t get it done. After re-activating PayPal Standard, he was able to pay immediately. A second customer tried 3 times and then paid with a different method. I didn’t get into this yet, just deactivated because it’s too dangerous. Unfortunately no log file was created. Facing many payment problems these days, keeping me from the necessary work….
Happened again. Klarna succeeded, then failed, but in Stripe looks fine. In between other Klarna payments worked fine. No idea? This is a serious issue, since customers receive a failure email (which I could only prevent by deactivating this email completely).
Sorry, one question I still have: Now we already had a couple successful orders with Klarna, so thanks again! But the last one has been marked as successful in the Stripe Dashboard, while in Woocommerce it’s been marked as “failed”. The customer only got an order and payment confirmation, so that’s fine, but what causes Woocommerce to mark it as “failed”?
There is no log file for this particular payment (which indicates there was no problem). Woocommerce gives the following notes:
1. Stock reduced
2. Status changed from waiting to in progress
3. Payment Status : Succeeded [ 2022-11-11 15:57:29 ] . Source : klarna. Charge Status :Captured. Transaction ID : txn_1xxxxxxxx
4. Klarna payment failed: Unable to process this payment, please try again. Status changed from in progress to failed.Until no. 3 it looks fine, in Stripe it looks fine, customer got success mails, but this no. 4 is irritating. Maybe it has something to do with the webhooks!?
Thank you! I did as you wrote, the test order still didn’t get through, so I figured I had to do the same for the test environment. Did so, and it worked. So hopefully also working now in live mode. Since right now I have no reason to doubt that, I mark this as resolved. Thanks guys!
No advice what could be wrong with the webhooks? There’s nothing in the logs. I am helpless, would like to use this plugin again, but don’t know how. This token and webhook thing is nothing I can handle.
I guess there’s no support here. No problem, I didn’t pay anything, not expecting anything either. But under such circumstances, the plugin is useless. Cannot risk to use it.
Hello @femiyb
meanwhile I disconnected, reconnected etc. again. On my staging site, suddenly the checkout was displayed again, but in my productive site I get the following error messages:
Authentication with PayPal failed: Could not create token.
Please verify your API Credentials and try again to connect your PayPal business account. Visit the plugin documentation for more information about the setup.
(2x shown on top of setup page)and
Failed to load webhooks.
When I click on “Resubscribe”, this is what I get:
Operation failed. Check WooCommerce logs for more details. Webhook subscription failed.
The PayPal status is “connected”.
Maybe this helps. But I have to say that the checkout was not displayed even when these errors did not occur. Anyways I would like to correctly reconnect to PayPal first. Maybe it’ll work again then.
Hello @aweissinpsyde
I used a staging site (don’t know if that would make any difference), cause I don’t want the productive site to be down for too long. I activated storefront (instead of my storefront child), deactivated all plugins but Woocommerce and Woocommerce Paypal Payments, I disconnected from and reconnected to PayPal successfully. No token issue, no webhook issue, everything looks alright, but still I cannot see the PayPal option on checkout. There is only the direct bank transfer, the only other option activated,
Any idea? I’m using version 1.9.4 meanwhile.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Order failed, then succeeded, same order numberNot true… I shared the credentials and sent you a couple emails (including a log file), but never received a reply. I was waiting… Anyways, since I’m experiencing even more serious problems now (all of a sudden, without changing the configuration) and have not enough time to test this and that, I am using the standard gateway for the moment and try to find an alternative solution. If eventually I decide to use this plugin again (which I generally like), I will start a new topic, if necessary.
Hello @femiyb
thanks for quick reply. But you misunderstood: I didn’t write that orders a failing. The payment method isn’t even displayed and cannot be seen by customers. So of course many move on if PayPal cannot be used.

In reply to: [Germanized for WooCommerce] Lexoffice SynchronisationAlles klar, Danke, werde ich tun.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Order failed, then succeeded, same order numberBy the way, I was asking the last customer about the emails he received. He says from PayPal there was only a confirmation, but from our shop he got two mails, first an order confirmation and then “order failed”. Once again, this has happened a couple times, mostly it’s not happening. And if, then only when paid with PayPal. In this customer’s case it was the normal PayPal button, not “pay later” or anything else.
