Thank you for the reply. The working SSL is actually from cloudflare and then there is a self-signed certificate on the domain itself instead of a full SSL. It’s weird that the SSL wizard works fine for other domains on the same server. I agree it is probably some unusual configuration glitch preventing it from being able to write the directory. I’ve tried changing permissions but nothing seems to work. Seems to be a weird glitch on this particular domain. Thanks again for looking into it.
The site is in openlitespeed within cyberpanel, behind cloudflare. I sent you the domain name through slack.
I reset the wizard and I am getting the same error. I manually created the rsssl directory and set permissions to 644. No test.txt file is created.

In reply to: [Neve] Nice theme – frustrating message isn’t going awayYes. Kept happening and I never got a response in the support forums. Someone in the support forums suggested posting a review would get rid of the nag screen, but this didn’t work either. As of yesterday the nag screen was still there.

In reply to: [GD Rating System] Ratings on home page and categoriesI figured out how to do it from the knowledge base by adding code into the_loop as recommended. To be more specific, I was able to add code in a child theme functions.php that added the code from the knowledge base into the template below the content on the home page and archive pages. It seems to be working.

In reply to: [Neve] Review message keeps showing upAm I the only one with this issue? I have the same problem on multiple devices, so it I don’t think it is a cookie issue. Very frustrating.

In reply to: [Neve] Review message keeps showing upI tried deactivating and re-activating. No luck.
I left a review. No luck.
I’ve tried both chrome and edge. No luck.
Any other suggestions?
I think I may have figured out the problem. I must have revisited the page without /?swcfpc=1 cache busting code while logged in to my account. I will be more careful not to do that, but I assume that could explain the problem, correct?
Thanks for an excellent plug-in.
This is what I get but I can send a better screenshot tonight.

CF-RAY: 6151f48e6bed7405-IADIn order to avoid the admin bar being cached, I purged the cache and didn’t visit and pages again while logged in.
I also don’t know how many cloudflare servers pickup my pageviews, but when I just purged the cache, visited my home page a few times while logged in, and then went to incognito mode, the admin bar is there now. I won’t purge the cache, but I don’t know how long it’ll be there and how widespread my visits are cached.

In reply to: [ShareThis Share Buttons] Counts not updatingI contacted support directly and got the following information. Unfortunately, I can’t get the new buttons to look like the legacy buttons with both a Facebook like and Facebook share button. I’m still working on trying to get the new buttons to look right if someone has a suggestion.
Thanks for pointing this out, I’ve gone ahead and alerted our engineering team of this issue and will let you know if we’re able to fix this.
Unfortunately, this issue is related to our Legacy share buttons which we are in the process of deprecating, so barring a major bug, fixes are extremely limited for this product as we are directing all our focus onto the new platform.
With that in mind, we highly recommend migrating to our latest inline buttons which come with updated share button graphics as well as awesome new features within our platform setup.

In reply to: [ShareThis Share Buttons] Counts not updatingI’m seeing the same thing. I’m using the legacy share buttons and the counts for new posts all show 0’s (and I know that is wrong).

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Twenty Seventeen NOT mobile friendly?Does anyone else have the header image rendering extra large in Google webmaster tools fetch and render? The page seems to get fetched properly, but the rendering is wrong. The header image is zoomed in with only a corner of it visible.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Twenty Seventeen NOT mobile friendly?I ran it again now, and it shows as mobile friendly now. Very odd. When I use Google webmaster tools to fetch and render the site as Google, the header image loads as more than the entire screen, and the home page only loads the header image and menu, not the additional sections below it. I’m wondering if Google has issues with the image settings perhaps. I noticed you don’t have a header image. Perhaps that is what was causing their spider some trouble.
I just set up this site, so I’ll be curious to see if it displays in the Google index as mobile friendly or not.
