In reply to: Jump links not working in ChromeHello Steve,
I wanted to update you on my jump links and menu navigation issues. The child theme was the culprit. I updated the child theme with a child theme specifically designed for the parent (Brooklyn) theme, and everything works perfectly. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Jump links not working in ChromeDid you try the other browsers? I cleaned the cache and still get the same results using Chrome. Any suggestions as to why it’s not working for me? Thank you very much!

In reply to: Jump links not working in ChromeHi Steve, my client’s site, http://gloryteacher.com, is now using the child theme. The jump links and the navigation menu will not work using this theme. I’m using the Chrome browser. The navigational menu works when using Fire Fox and Microsoft Edge browsers, however, the jump links don’t. Thank you.

In reply to: Jump links not working in ChromeHi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. It’s my client’s site located at http://gloryteacher.com. I switched the theme back to the parent theme. Should I switch it back to the child theme for your review? Thanks.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Membership 2] Protecting ContentHi Kasia, that solves the issue. The post is also added to non-protected categories. I think protecting individual posts may work better being this is the case with this plugin. Thank you very much for your assistance.

In reply to: [Membership 2] Protecting ContentHi Kasia,
We have three memberships and I added them all to a particular category; for example, five-fold leaders. When I view a blog post within that category as a logged-out user, the entire post is visible. I did not change the theme or plugins. As I mentioned, when I first set it up, it worked when I was logged out. Here is the link to a blog post with a category of five-fold leaders: Are you losing it at work? This is just one of the categories we want to protect. I’m just using five-folder leaders as an example.
Can you please let me know if you can see the entire post? I haven’t researched yet if the plugins are the culprit.
I don’t have the Individual Posts Add-on activated.
By the term “nonmember” I’m speaking of site visitors who are not registered as a user on my client’s website.

In reply to: [Membership 2] Protecting ContentThanks Nastia, these are the steps I took; however, when I tested one of the selected categories to be protected, it worked at first, but then it stop working. In other words, the entire blog post is displayed to a nonmember. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Popups - WordPress Popup] Interferes with Brooklyn Theme Front PageHi Damian,
I deactivated all the plugins and found your plugin, WordPress Popup, to be the culprit.

In reply to: [Popups - WordPress Popup] Interferes with Brooklyn Theme Front PageHi Damian, I disabled the ajax mode to no avail. The plugin still would not allow the front page to load. Here’s the website so that you can see the front page. I deactivated the plugin. It’s my client’s site that I’m working on: http://www.godscoachu.org/. Thank you.

In reply to: Log In IssuesYes, I had to do redirects. The pages with the extension weren’t recognized. Thanks for the tip, which I will keep in mind for future pages.

In reply to: Log In Issues@kmessinger so, in your opinion I don’t really need the extension? I used to build websites using Microsoft Expression Web and was accustom to having the extension.
It is a mystery why that plugin didn’t show, because it was updated four months ago; therefore, I doubt if it was using an older version of jquery. Again, thank you very much!

In reply to: Log In IssuesI believe I found the culprit. I was using a plugin that adds the extension .html to my pages. For some reason, it doesn’t work anymore; so, I got rid of the plugin; although, I would like to be able to add the extension. Thanks everyone for your help!

In reply to: Log In Issues@kmissinger I don’t click on the W, do you see the login to the right of the W? When I clicked the login I am taken back to the login screen. Here’s a screenshot of it: http://pasteboard.co/3ZCzlPpnl.png

In reply to: Log In Issues@kmessinger I follow the instructions to reset the plugins to no avail. I still have the login issues. As I mentioned before, I have no problem with the home page, but the I do with the rest of the pages. Thanks again.
