Solved!
My custom post type used a dash in it’s name. It worked when changed to an underscore.
Not sure how to confirm that or not.
I can say I’m using a custom postype plugin, other post types seem to work, and I if I view source of the select box I can see the post types are in there.
Yeah, that’s what I meant by “adjusting permission”. I’ll try messing with it more.
Turns out this was a license error.
