Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. Yes, we completely understand what you mean. Being able to reorder and manage images while seeing the real gallery layout would make the editing process much more convenient.
At the moment, image ordering is available in a few ways:
* In the Media Manager
* In the gallery image upload section
* In the thumbnail preview area below the upload button, where images can be reordered using drag and dropHowever, we agree that a more advanced visual preview-edit mode would be a great improvement. We’ll add this suggestion to our feature wishlist. Could you please also let us know what would be more comfortable for your workflow: editing this preview directly in the admin section, or having a special edit mode on the front end, where the gallery is actually published?

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Hover sliding panel optionThanks for your question. You can change hover effects in both the classic gallery layouts (Grid, Masonry, Mosaic) and the newer Fusion Grid layout.
To configure the sliding caption effect:
1. Open your gallery settings.
2. Go to the Hover Settings section.
3. There you’ll find different hover presets and animation styles.Please note that:
* Classic Grid and Fusion Grid have different sets of hover effects.
* Some hover animations are available only in specific layouts, so the exact preset list depends on the gallery type you selected.The “caption slides up from the bottom” effect is usually available in Fusion Grid and some classic grid layouts as one of the hover presets. If you’d like, send us the demo link or screenshot of the effect you want to reproduce, we’ll gladly tell you the exact gallery type and hover settings needed.
Thanks for reporting this issue.
We’re sorry to hear that Robo Gallery 5.1.4 is not working correctly when creating a new gallery. Could you please submit a ticket through our local support system and include the screenshots along with a short description of the steps that reproduce the issue? We’ll need to investigate it more closely and test the behavior in detail.
Please also include:
* your WordPress version,
* PHP version,
* active theme,
* and a list of major plugins (especially optimization/security plugins).This information will help us identify the cause much faster and provide you with a proper fix

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Prevent right click inside lightboxThanks for your question. In the current version of Robo Gallery, you can enable full right-click protection, but there is no separate built-in option to disable right-click only inside the lightbox.
At the moment, the protection applies globally to the gallery area/site configuration depending on the selected settings. We don’t recommend adding custom JavaScript without checking your setup first, because it may conflict with the lightbox controls, navigation, or mobile touch events.
If you need protection only for the lightbox area, please describe your requirements in more detail – for example, whether it should apply only to full-size images, only to specific galleries, or only for non-logged-in users. We’ll consider adding this as a dedicated option in future releases.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Lightbox slideshow button missingThanks for your question. Yes, the slideshow/play button can be enabled in the Lightbox Settings for the Fusion Grid gallery.
Please open your gallery settings and check the Lightbox Settings section. There you can enable:
* Slideshow timer
* Play/Pause button
* Lightbox navigation controlsOnce these options are enabled and the gallery is saved, the slideshow control should appear in the lightbox together with the navigation arrows. If you already enabled these settings but the button still doesn’t appear, please clear your cache and reload the page.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Hover icons misaligned on mobileThanks for your question. If the zoom/link icons are positioned correctly on desktop but shift outside the thumbnail on mobile, it usually points to a CSS conflict with your WordPress theme or another plugin rather than a normal gallery setting.
This can happen when a theme or plugin changes responsive rules for:
* thumbnail containers,
* icon wrappers,
* hover overlays,
* image positioning,
* or mobile breakpoints.Please send us a link to the page with the gallery, and we’ll check the browser console and CSS rules directly. After that, we can suggest the exact fix or CSS selector to target for your setup. In the meantime, you can also try clearing cache and temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme to confirm whether the issue is theme-related.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Convert old grid to Fusion gridGreat question, and yes, you can safely convert your existing galleries. Every gallery includes a Change Gallery Type widget at the top of the settings page. When you click it, a popup will appear where you can select the target gallery type you want to switch to, including Fusion Grid.
The conversion keeps your existing gallery content, including:
- image order,
- captions/titles/descriptions,
- and the gallery images themselves.
You can freely convert between old and new gallery types. For example:
- Classic Grid → Fusion Grid
- Masonry → Fusion Grid
- Fusion Grid → Image Slider
- and many other combinations.
Some settings (especially hover effects or lightbox styles) may need small adjustments after conversion, since Fusion Grid has a newer and more advanced configuration system. But your content itself will remain intact. You can even mix old and new gallery types on the same website without any limitations.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Hover buttons layout brokenThanks for your question. The behavior you described, hover icons stacking incorrectly or going outside the thumbnail on mobile, usually looks like a CSS conflict with the theme or another plugin, especially if it happens only at specific responsive breakpoints.
Please try the following steps:
1. Enable the gallery Compatibility Settings.
2. Clear all caches: browser, plugin, site cache, and CDN if used.
3. Reload the page and test again on mobile.
4. Try switching to another hover effect preset to compare whether the issue happens with all hover styles or only one specific effect.If the issue continues, please send us a link to the page with the gallery. We’ll check the layout, mobile CSS rules, and icon alignment directly to identify what is causing the problem.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Filter buttons not showingThanks for your question. Please make sure that the gallery hierarchy is configured correctly. The filter/top navigation appears when you have a properly configured root gallery with child galleries/categories, and you are previewing or publishing the root gallery, not one of the child galleries.
Here’s what to check:
1. Make sure you have a root gallery.
2. Make sure the child galleries/categories are correctly assigned under that root gallery.
3. Insert the shortcode of the root gallery on the page.
4. Then the top navigation/filter menu should appear above the thumbnails.If you publish only a child gallery, the filter menu may not be displayed because there is no parent structure to navigate.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Captions not pulled from mediaThanks for your question.
That’s definitely a strange behavior. Normally, Robo Gallery can display information directly from the WordPress Media Library, including title, caption, and description fields.
Please double-check the following:
1. Make sure the images you added to the gallery are the same images where the captions/descriptions were defined in the Media Library.
2. In the gallery settings, verify which text elements are enabled for display – depending on the gallery type and hover/lightbox configuration, you can choose to show:
* Title
* Caption
* Description3. Try re-saving the gallery and clearing all caches (browser + plugin cache).
In most cases, captions do not need to be assigned again inside the gallery, since the plugin reads them from the Media Library automatically. If the fields are still empty after checking this, please send us a link to the gallery page or a screenshot of your settings, we’ll gladly investigate further.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Social share icons not clickableIf the social share icons in the lightbox don’t respond, the first step is to clear all caches (browser, plugin, and CDN if used), as scripts may not be updated properly after changes.
If the issue persists, here are a few things to check:
– In Fusion Grid, social icons are managed in the Hover Settings, make sure the required networks are enabled there.
– In Classic Grid, you can control them directly in the Lightbox Settings.
– Also ensure there are no JavaScript conflicts from other plugins or your theme that could block popup actions.And yes, you can enable or disable specific social networks in the settings depending on which ones you want to show. If it’s still not working, feel free to send us a link to your gallery page, we’ll take a closer look and help you fix it.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Show value to show current imagesIf you’ve already confirmed that the images are uploaded and visible in Manage Images, then this message usually means the gallery is not able to load them correctly on the front end. In most cases, this is caused by a cache issue, server configuration, or a conflict with another plugin/theme rather than a missing gallery setting.
Here are a few things to try first:
– Clear all caches, browser cache, site cache, plugin cache, and CDN cache if you use one.
– Make sure you are using the correct shortcode for that exact gallery.
– Temporarily disable any optimization, security, or lazy load plugins to see if one of them is blocking the gallery output.
– If possible, test with a default theme or outside the Divi code block to rule out a builder-related conflict.
– Also check whether there may be any server permission or security rules preventing the gallery from loading image data properly.If the problem continues, please submit a ticket through our support system so we can investigate it more closely. This type of issue usually needs a direct check of the gallery setup, shortcode output, and possible server/plugin conflicts.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Thumbnails look blurryIn Fusion Grid, thumbnails are generated and displayed based on the layout configuration and screen resolution. The gallery automatically detects the device (including retina screens) and tries to serve the most appropriate image size.
If thumbnails look blurry on retina displays, here are a few things to check:
- Image Source Quality
Make sure the original images are large enough (at least 2× the display size for retina screens). - Layout Settings
In Fusion Grid, thumbnail size depends on the column width and layout type, smaller thumbnails may look less sharp if the source image is limited. - Image Optimization Plugins
This is a common cause, some optimization or compression plugins may reduce image quality or resize images too aggressively, affecting thumbnails. Try temporarily disabling them to test. - Caching
Clear all caches (browser, plugin, CDN) after any changes.
Rebuilding thumbnails in WordPress doesn’t always affect how the gallery generates and serves images, since Robo Gallery uses its own logic for responsive rendering. If you’d like, send us a link to your gallery, we can check exactly how images are being served and suggest the best settings for crisp retina display.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Gallery shortcode shows empty blockIf the gallery shortcode works on other pages but shows only an empty space on one specific page, the issue is most likely related to the page container, builder layout, or a script conflict on that page.
Here are a few things to check:
– Make sure you’re using the correct shortcode for a gallery that actually contains images.
– Check whether that page has any special builder section, hidden container, tab, accordion, or popup block that may prevent the gallery from initializing correctly.
– Open the browser console and see if there are any JavaScript errors or warnings on that page.
– Also check for conflicts with plugins that affect lazy load, optimization, animations, or script deferring.If you notice any console errors or unusual behavior, please send us the link to that gallery page, we’ll be happy to take a closer look and help identify the exact cause.

In reply to: [Robo Gallery - Photo & Image Slider] Video lightbox size wrong on mobileIf the video opens correctly in the lightbox but appears too small on mobile with large margins, the most likely cause is a CSS conflict coming from your theme or another plugin.
In many cases, this happens when:
– the theme applies its own responsive media styles,
– another lightbox plugin is loading on the same page,
– or a plugin adds custom CSS rules for iframes, videos, or modal windows.
Here’s what we recommend:
– Check for CSS conflicts by temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme.
– Disable other image/lightbox-related plugins for testing, especially if they also affect videos or popups.
– Clear all caches after testing changes.
– Inspect the page on mobile or in browser Developer Tools to see whether the video container is getting custom width, max-width, or margin rules from the theme.
If you’d like, please send us a link to the gallery page, and we’ll be happy to take a closer look and help identify the exact CSS rule causing the issue
