Thank you for reaching out! It sounds like you’re experiencing some layout issues with the gallery on mobile devices. To address this, I recommend checking the settings in the General section of your RoboGallery plugin.

In particular, you can configure separate layout settings for desktop and mobile views. This includes adjusting the number of columns for each layout, which can help ensure that your images display properly on smaller screens.

Additionally, if you notice any jumping or shifting of the page when viewing the gallery, please double-check the overall size of the gallery and the specific location where it is published within your theme layout. This can sometimes affect how the gallery appears on mobile devices.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask!

It sounds like something is preventing the gallery from rendering properly. First, please make sure that the Robo Gallery plugin is installed and activated. If it’s not enabled, the shortcode will just display as text instead of loading the gallery.

Next, check for any potential conflicts with other plugins or your theme. Sometimes, other plugins might interfere by cutting off the necessary CSS or JavaScript that the gallery needs to function. To help with this, you can try enabling the compatibility options within Robo Gallery. These settings are designed to resolve conflicts and ensure that the gallery loads as expected.

If you’re still seeing the shortcode text, feel free to reach out, and I’ll help you troubleshoot further!

It sounds like there might be a conflict between Robo Gallery and your theme. To troubleshoot this, I recommend switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Three) temporarily to see if the issue with your header menu persists. This can help determine whether the conflict is specifically related to your current theme.

Additionally, Robo Gallery includes compatibility settings designed to address potential conflicts with themes or other plugins. You can try adjusting these settings to use different modes, which may help resolve the issue without needing to switch themes permanently.

Let me know how it goes, and if you need further assistance, I’d be happy to guide you through additional steps!

Yes, you can definitely customize the hover effects in Robo Gallery! To start, you can change the type of hover effects directly from the gallery hover settings. Each gallery type comes with its own pre-configured hover effect, so you might want to explore different gallery types to see which effect fits your needs best.

If you’d like more control over the hover effects, you can switch to the “Hover Template” option. This gives you the ability to fully customize the layout of the hover overlay, allowing for advanced effects like zoom or opacity changes. Additionally, there are hover options available that allow you to manage the specific elements within the hover effect, giving you even more flexibility to create the exact look and feel you’re aiming for.

Let me know if you need any more guidance, and I’d be happy to help further!

The issue with captions not appearing on mobile could be related to the hover settings and the specific hover effects you’re using. In Robo Gallery, hover effects are optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, which means some effects may display differently on mobile for a more streamlined experience.

I recommend trying to adjust your hover settings and testing a few different hover effects to see if that resolves the issue with the captions. This should help you find a configuration that works well for both desktop and mobile views.

Yes, there are two options for duplicating a gallery in Robo Gallery! You can either use the ‘Duplicate’ option directly in the gallery listing or the ‘Clone’ option found within the gallery settings.

When you create a new gallery, you’ll have the ability to select an existing gallery as a source for the settings of the current one. This feature will definitely save you time when setting up multiple galleries with similar configurations.

It sounds like the issue might be caused by a conflict with one of your plugins, particularly those related to links, SEO, or optimization. I recommend disabling these plugins one by one to see if any of them are causing the 404 error. Additionally, some WordPress themes have built-in SEO or link-related tools, so it’s worth checking if your theme has any similar features that could be interfering.

To troubleshoot, try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Three) and see if the gallery works without the error. This will help you pinpoint whether it’s a plugin or theme causing the issue.

Yes, you can add social media sharing buttons directly within Robo Gallery! There’s no need for a separate plugin. Simply go to the gallery’s lightbox settings, where you’ll find the option to enable social sharing buttons. Once activated, visitors will be able to easily share your gallery images across their social networks.

It sounds like the issue might be related to caching. First, I recommend temporarily disabling all cache plugins on your site, and also make sure that the gallery’s internal cache is turned off for testing purposes. Once you’ve done that, modify your CSS again, clear your browser cache, and see if the changes apply.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to help you double-check your CSS modifications and troubleshoot further. We’re here to make sure everything works smoothly for you!

Great question! Robo Gallery doesn’t limit the number of images you can upload—it’s primarily restricted by your server settings and WordPress itself. So, you should be able to upload a large batch of images without any issues, as long as your server allows it.

We’re also excited to share that we have a major update coming soon, which will include even more advanced functionality. One of the key features will be a new media manager, which will make bulk uploading and managing images much more efficient. This new tool should be released shortly after the main update.

In the meantime, if you need help with your current upload process or run into any issues, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to assist!

Thank you for your question. I understand how important it is to migrate your gallery smoothly, especially with over 200 photos.

In the past, we had a backup add-on specifically for Robo Gallery, but it’s temporarily disabled in the current version. This is because we’re working on a major update that will include exciting new features like a redesigned grid, new layouts, albums, an improved lightbox, enhanced mobile compatibility, and much more. To implement these updates, we had to adjust the gallery’s structure, which is why the backup module is temporarily unavailable.

However, it will be reintroduced soon after the new version is released. In the meantime, you can use general WordPress backup and migration plugins, such as UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin. This will allow you to back up and transfer your gallery content, including the images, to your new site without having to re-upload them manually.

If you need any further assistance during the migration process, feel free to reach out! We’re here to help.

Thank you for reaching out. It sounds like the gallery might not be linked correctly to the instance you’re using on the homepage. Could you double-check that the images have been uploaded to the correct gallery instance? Sometimes it’s easy to accidentally create multiple galleries, and the wrong one may be linked in the shortcode.

Additionally, it could be a compatibility issue. I recommend checking the gallery’s compatibility settings and trying to switch to the alternative version, as this can help avoid conflicts with other plugins or themes.

If these steps don’t solve the problem, feel free to share more details, and I’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot further!

Yes, Robo Gallery includes several features designed to optimize your gallery and image links for search engines. Each image in the gallery has a customizable ALT field, allowing you to add descriptive text that improves SEO. Additionally, the plugin allows you to modify the links for each gallery to ensure they fit seamlessly into your overall link structure. These features help enhance the visibility of your images and galleries on search engines, leading to better SEO performance.
