GPT chat reports that when a photo is created on a phone, the EXIF Orientation: 6 (Rotate 90° CW) parameters are written to the photo’s metadata. This is why this issue occurs when uploading via the Ajax gallery uploader. When resaving the photo in Paint, these parameters are removed, and your plugin crops the photo correctly. I recommend you dig deeper into this issue and investigate it further!

You’re right, users can upload vertical images depending on the product, but the problem is that the plugin can’t correctly crop some images taken on a phone and create the correct thumbnail. Because of this, the ad archive grid isn’t displayed correctly. Try uploading the attached photo, and you’ll see that it’s not cropped. See the screenshots.
