Hi @chitarristiorg ,
We’re sorry to hear that the link in the alert isn’t working. To assist you better, could you please provide more details about the issue? If possible, a screenshot of the alert or any additional information would help us understand the issue better.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi @web2guru ,
It appears that special characters are being improperly encoded in the email preview. This issue might be related to the current version of the plugin.
You can try downgrading to a previous version of Subscribe2 if available, as it might not have this issue. Alternatively, please keep an eye out for upcoming updates to the plugin, as a fix may be included in the next release.
Thank you for your patience, and let us know if you need further assistance.
Hi @thuys ,
It looks like the issue might be due to the plugin settings or a conflict. Typically, you should receive only one email per post in the selected format.
Please check the Subscribe2 settings to ensure that only your preferred format is selected for sending emails. If the issue persists, try disabling other plugins to rule out conflicts or check for any available updates to Subscribe2.
ThanksHi @la33lf ,
Thank you for reporting this issue. It does seem related to the PHP upgrade. The error you’re encountering is likely due to compatibility issues with PHP 8.
Our team is aware of this and is working on a fix. In the meantime, you might want to check for any available updates to the Subscribe2 plugin or consider downgrading PHP to a compatible version if possible.
We appreciate your patience and will provide an update as soon as a solution is available.

Hi @rick111 ,
Thank you for the suggestion! Forwarding 404 errors to a custom URL specified by the customer is a great idea, and I can see how it would improve the user experience. I’ll pass this feedback along to our development team for consideration in future updates.
We appreciate your input and are always looking for ways to enhance weMail. If you have any other suggestions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
Hi @rick111 ,
At the moment, we recommend keeping your campaigns rather than deleting them to avoid the 404 errors. We understand how this can be frustrating, so we’re actively working on a fix to ensure that the links will continue to function even after a campaign has been deleted. Thanks for your patience — our plugin is still fully supported, and we’re here to help.
Hi @rick111 ,
we’re sorry for the confusion this has caused. Yes, weMail does use wemailtrack.com to track campaigns. We’re currently investigating the issue thoroughly, but so far, we haven’t identified any problems from our domain’s end. It’s possible that the recent CrowdStrike outage may have contributed to the browser warnings.Hi @hanzardo
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your issue. It sounds frustrating to have the plugin suddenly stop working after so many years! Have you recently updated WordPress, your theme, or other plugins? Compatibility issues can sometimes cause such issues. Additionally, check your email settings or your hosting provider to ensure emails are not being blocked. You could also try reinstalling Subscribe2.Let me know if you need any more help!
