In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Blog Subscriptions WidgetThank you Jeremy
Hi Milap,
Thank you for your response. Hopefully Facebook will allow this in the future.
Take Care,
DustinHi Milap,
Thank you for the information. To clarify, I don’t want to update the button text. I have two buttons and I prefer to show the share button, but I don’t see that this is possible on the link you sent me or on my facebook page. Is it possible to show a different button?
Here is my facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/challengenie/
Thanks,

In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] Cookie Error message when trying to loginHas anyone figured this out yet? Or can you suggest a plugin that doesn’t have this issue. It doesn’t seem like the authors want to address this.
Thanks everyone!
@crambeatz, I didn’t do anything special with the text, it just came out that way. Hope you got it the way you like.
Niki,
I’m actually only using PMpro for a free membership now, but from what I remember, this warning did not prevent me from getting payments. I think it was an issue with paypal and had to do with deleting memberships. I know I had to delete a membership from both the PMpro plugin – Orders (not wordpress memberships in admin) and also PayPal which I was shown how by calling PayPal. But, like I said, this according to payPal did not prevent me from getting my payments. It seems like a big deal, but is not in actuality. Hope that helps.
Ha! Never mind, right after I wrote that last post I went to my site and saw you guys had an even newer update with a fix. Thanks!
You rock,
DustinThanks for that, but did you see the other part of my last post about members not being able to log out? This is something new and completely unrelated to my original post. It seems after the latest pmpro update that now we are unable to log out of our site once logged in. My wordpress support traced the problem back to pmpro. Once we disabled pmpro we were able to log out. Have you heard of this issue yet?
Thanks Messica,
We’ve actually decided to put our paid membership on hold for now, but will implement this when we are ready. For now we’ll stick with a free membership.
Unfortunately I’ve also had to disable PMPro for the time being. It seems that after the latest updates to the plugin, that members are unable to log out. Are you aware of this issue? If so, is there a fix?
Thanks,
DustinThank you so much. I got it worked out.
Hi,
Thank you for the response. I unfortunately am not a member of PMPro and therefore cannot see the blog. I would become a member if I was creating multiple websites, but at this point I am not. I’m also not entirely sure how our pricing structure will be set up once we work out all the kinks. We have many ideas for our members, but they’re still in the works.
So, that being said, I’ve uploaded the code to my child theme and changed it from saying the WordPress roles of “authors and subscribers” to the BBPress roles of “spectator and participant” which may be going about it totally wrong. This made sense to me, because I don’t want to change my members WordPress roles, but I do want to change their forum roles. Unfortunately this was unsuccessful and regardless of whether a member in “Paid or Free” the forum role stays the same.
What am I doing wrong?
Do I need to become a PMPro member to get this info?
Or is what I’m asking even possible?
Please let me know the best way to proceed.
Thanks again,
Dustin
