In reply to: [Table of Contents Plus] Table not workingThe solution from @sangshenas worked for me, although I read about it first from a review from @moesoloff where they explained it a little differently. Not sure if this will help anyone else, but it did work for me.
This is from the review:
—I figured out how to fix the new update and why it doesn’t show up after the update
- Go to settings and
- scroll down to advanced settings.
- Under Heading levels, the update by default unchecked all
- Check h2, h3, h4
- Scroll down hit save
- and problem solved!
And now its again the best TOC plugin

In reply to: Does logging into the WP admin trigger WP updates?I forgot to say thanks! I’m still not entirely sure what caused the issue, but things are working properly now. Fingers crossed.
I completely forgot to respond to this…Just so you know, after trying a number of things, I finally ended up unchecking the box in the Site Kit -> Settings -> AdSense section that added the code to the site. Then, I added the AdSense code via another plugin. (Basically, AdSense is still connected via Site Kit, but it doesn’t add the header code.)
Then, I waited and waited and cleared my cache repeatedly until the auto-ads stopped showing.
Just to be sure…If I disconnect Adsense from site kit, it won’t disable or mess up my adsense account, right? It will just remove the adsense header code on my site?
Then, I can either reconnect site kit to adsense or I can add the header code through a separate plugin?
This is their plugin page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/googleanalytics/
It is fixed! I noticed that I had a separate plugin called “Google Analytics” still active. After I deactivated it, the Site Kit dashboard started working. Just to be sure, I reactivated the Google Analytics plugin, and got the error again. I deactivated it again, and the Site Kit worked again. 🙂
I have updated, but I still see the error. So weird.
I am having the same issue. When I go to edit an existing post, the description box briefly flashes a 154 character description, but then fills with the entire content of the post.
I was afraid that might be the case…Thank you for responding.

In reply to: Accessing recovery mode without the email linkThank you both for your responses. I am happy to hear that there is something in the works to make it so there is another way to access the recovery mode. I am looking forward to trying it, but fingers crossed I will never need to…
Luckily, I was able to fix the issue last night by simply changing the php memory limit in my wp_config file. From there, I was able to log in and do some cleanup. Whew!

In reply to: GUID showing temporary URL/serverAnother question…
4) For future posts, how does wordpress determine what domain/temporary URL/etc. should be used to create the GUID?
