In reply to: [Microblog Poster - Auto Publish on Social Media] Hacked my twitter accountMy problem was with another (also reputable) plugin, ‘Gmail SMTP’. It connected to a Singapore IP every time I tried to use it, then I started getting hack attempts from Sri Lanka (IP Address:112.134.161.51), the Republic of Georgia (IP Address:134.19.247.15), Pakistan (IP Address:175.107.1.252) etc. etc. I have purged my security logs so I don’t have the addresses anymore, these were just some from my notes.
I immediately uninstalled the plugin and had some security in place, so it trailed off and seems to be ok now, but it got my test email ids.
The point is, I think someone is hacking the plugins.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events added since 4.3.3 do not display mapForum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] wp-editor-tools > bumpdown is not a functionEven though I am now able to see my editor buttons and create new events with maps since going back from 4.3.3 to 4.3.2, events created with 4.3.3 still do not show the map. I have posted comparisons to dropbox.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] How to install a previous version of pluginRight … My concern was whether I would have to recreate the events, venues, contacts etc. Thank-you for the link to https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/ which says “In general, events and settings in formation will be preserved through an update or downgrade. But you always want to backup in case something goes sideways.”
I removed 4.3.3 and installed 4.3.2 and all is now fine.
Thanks! SusanForum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] wp-editor-tools > bumpdown is not a functionHi George-
Yup-
Please see notes added to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/events-added-since-4-3-3-do-not-display-map/#post-8504569The calendar and all events are behind the secure part of the site, but the 4 front pages have to remain http.
Back-leveling from 4.3.3 to 4.3.2 fixed the “wp-editor-tools > Uncaught TypeError: $(…).bumpdown is not a function(…)” problem as well as the map not being added to events problem and a bunch of other issues as well.
All OK now even though the options are still the same as when the problem was happening:
http://peobc.org/events/ and Your single event URL is: http://peobc.org/event/single-post-name/Thanks- Susan

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events added since 4.3.3 do not display mapYou are right about that… but
The http://peobc.org prefix used by the Calendar cannot be edited in the Calendar settings… It is being picked up from https://peobc.org/wp-admin/options-general.php but it has to remain http there because we do have some public pages (without any Calendar elements on the public pages).
https://peobc.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-common
Events URL slug
events
The slug used for building the events URL.Your current events URL is: http://peobc.org/events/Single event URL slug
event
The above should ideally be plural, and this singular.
Your single event URL is: http://peobc.org/event/single-post-name/————
Now that I have back-leveled Calendar from 4.3.3. to 4.3.2 the problems are gone. Nothing else has changed. The options are still exactly the same at both https://peobc.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-common and at https://peobc.org/wp-admin/options-general.php and at the page level.Hope this helps… Susan

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events added since 4.3.3 do not display mapThank-you so much for your offer of help! I have now down-leveled the Events Calendar from 4.3.3 to 4.3.2 and the problems are all gone, including the map one.
I guess you can close this… Again, thanks! Susan

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events added since 4.3.3 do not display mapHi – The Calendar is in a password-protected part of the site. There are 4 pages at the front that are public (http://peobc.org/) and 57 that are private.
Should I create a temporary id for you? If so, please tell me what emailid I should send the info to… I cannot post an id and pw to a public forum. Thanks! SusanForum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Release: The Events Calendar 4.3.3Since upgrade to 4.3.3 the event editor no longer displays my editor buttons. No other upgrades or changes happened at this time, just the Events Calendar upgrade to 4.3.3.
Editor buttons still show up in my other pages, just the Events Calendar is failing to show them now.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] How to install a previous version of pluginAs I said above, I have already done that.
Trying to install an earlier version over 4.3.3 FAILS because it detects the presence of the more recent one.
HOW do I work around this and install the earlier version without losing my events data, please?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] The Widget-Edite Button disappearsI also have the problem of buttons no longer appearing in the editor. This is since upgrading to 4.3.3. I see the following error:
